I am the Commish in the baseball league "Play Every Day". We have a team "Grafton Great" who has been inactive for over 3 months. When I clicked the link to remind them this came up: Fleaflicker will contact this owner and remind them to stay active. If they remain inactive after a few days, their team will become eligible for takeover.

When I do it again it says: You have already reminded this owner to stay active!

I clicked the link 3 weeks ago and they still there without being able to have someone else take over. I know I could use the Commish powers to kick them out. In the past after clicking that link a green "invite" box would come up after 4-5 days. How long is a "few' days now?

The sport most likely was not in season when that was initially clicked. Give it around a week now and let us know if the player is removed thereafter.

OK thanks

Hal, It has been over 2 weeks since you responded and they are still there. I also still get the same message when I try to remind them.

We're looking into seeing if there something is wrong with that alert in your league.

At least four players must report the user in that league. Because only three have, one more will need to (this is in place to prevent people ganging up on others or you kicking out a competitor that may not be active for those few weeks).

Is this a new rule? In the past, it has only taken one person to send a reminder for the invite button to appear. If it is new, what percent of owners are needed to send a reminder? I don't play in many public leagues, but I would like to know as much of the rules as possible.

OK, Thaks for the info.

FFCSR_Hal Fleaflicker Admin Apr 19 '12

No, not new, it's possible that you were the 4th person to report the user for inactivity in those leagues. If 4 users hit the timer, it sends an alert to the user where they have 30 days to log in during the sport's preseason mode, 14 days in the regular season and 320 days in the offseason (if the user is notified when a draft is coming up within 3 days, it's a bit accelerated and the team will show a takeover immediately)

Is the rule four persons in a public league to report inactivity, or four persons in combined public leagues to report inactivity?

It goes per league for each league.
