I noticed on the hockey site this year that the championship game cannot be later than week 23 (March 2nd). The NHL regular season concludes April 7th, 2012. Why can't we schedule playoffs to the end of the regular season in April? Is this a bug that needs to be fixed or are we locked into having a short season?
