Parenteau was feeling under the weather Saturday morning and didn't participate in the team's gameday skate. Coach Michel Therrien ruled him out shortly thereafter, and it looks like Christian Thomas will assume his spot in the lineup as a result. Parenteau has been largely invisible for the Habs even when healthy this season, contributing a mere six goals and 15 points in 40 games.

Parenteau returned to the lineup Tuesday night after missing three games with a mild concussion. He had one shot and one hit in 12:22 of ice time, including a healthy 3:37 on the man-advantage in a comeback win over the Blue Jackets.

Parenteau opened the game on the third line and was toggled to the fourth as part of an in-game adjustment.
