Pacioretty picked up a second-period assist on the game's opening goal and scored into an empty net Tuesday in a 3-1 win over Montreal.

He also went plus-2, pushing his already-career-high rating to a career-higher plus-12 for the year. Pacioretty's scoring pace is a little off from the last few years, thanks in part to him having gone scoreless over the prior three games, but he's a good bet to end up with 30-plus goals and around 60 points when all's said and done.

One game after seeing his five-game point streak come to an end in a shutout loss to the Penguins, Pacioretty bounced back in a big way. He scored the second and third goals for Montreal, so he was credited with his first game-winner of the year.

He's now got a modest three-game point streak going during which he's accumulated three goals, an assist and a plus-3 rating. He leads the Habs in both goals (eight) and points (13), and Pacioretty should be expected to remain the team's most reliable offensive threat.

Pacioretty managed to navigate the team's recent offensive slump, scoring twice in a stretch that saw Montreal score just six goals in the previous six games entering Saturday night's explosion against the Wild.

Pacioretty scored a goal and had six shots on net in Sunday night's 6-2 loss to Calgary. It was the second straight game in which Pacioretty has scored.

Pacioretty now has eight points in his last eight games. He was the best Montreal had on a bad night for the Canadiens, who were out-hustled by Calgary for the second time in the last week. The Habs were able to steal two points in Calgary last Tuesday, but hockey karma caught up to them Sunday.

Pacioretty scored late in the third period to send Thursday night's game into overtime, but Vancouver eventually won it in extra time. It was his fourth goal of the season and first point on the team's three-game swing through western Canada.

Montreal's top line has had spotty success this season, but Pacioretty has amassed eight points through 11 games.
