Chris Neil warned that the Senators have to do better against the Boston Bruins on Monday than they did in their 2-0 victory over the Devils on Friday.

"We've got to play our game," said Neil. "We can't play like we did against New Jersey or we won't beat (the Bruins). You can't expect to have 11 shots and beat a team like Boston." The Devils outshot the Senators 33-11, but Ottawa goaltender Craig Anderson stood tall. A win against Boston would go a long way towards guaranteeing the Senators' playoff spot.

Chris Neil racked up 26 penalty minutes in Monday's win over New Jersey.

The PIMs brought his career total to 1,923 in 747 games. Neil became the 61st player in NHL history to surpass the 1,900 mark. He has chipped in three goals and one assist in 16 contests this season, but his true value to fantasy owners is represented by his 62 minutes in the sin bin.

"We know there's been some damage done to the game, but as players we'll do our best to get the fans back," Neil said. "We have some of the best fans in the league and hopefully they'll come back, but we understand that we've lost some." The veteran winger recently inked a three-year deal with the Senators, the only NHL club he has ever played for.
