Berglund now has three goals in five games, dating back to the regular season. He had 17 goals and 25 points in 48 contests prior to the playoffs.

Patrik Berglund notched his 14th goal of the season on Tuesday night in the Blues' 3-2 loss to Vancouver.

Berglund's scoring touch has been a nice surprise for St. Louis all year. However, the Swedish center is fairly one-dimensional and doesn't offer fantasy owners much other than in the goals category. If you're in need of a scoring punch, Berglund may help, but don't expect much else. Jaden Schwartz tallied the other goal for the Blues.

Like Jeff Carter earlier in the year, Berglund is potting goals at a much higher clip than getting attributed for assists. He could be useful for you to help balance out a high assist / low goals player like St. Louis or Thornton.

Patrik Berglund scored his 13th goal of the campaign, but it wasn't enough as St. Louis lost to the Ducks by a score of 4-2 Sunday.

Berglund has formed one third of the Blues best line of late, but his marker in this one was overshadowed by the fact the team blew a third period lead. Ryan Reaves also scored a goal for the losing Blues.

Berglund ended his six-game goal scoring slump and now has 11 goals and 14 points in 23 games. "Perry and Stewy, they're really hot," Berglund said, referring to his linemates David Perron and Chris Stewart. "I'm just tagging along."

Berglund has scored in four consecutive contests to give him nine goals on the year. Vladimir Sobotka and Chris Stewart had the assists on the play.
