Brad Marchand scored an empty-net goal in Boston's 3-0 victory Sunday.

It was Marchand's first empty netter this season. He has taken a step forward in 2013 with 18 goals and 17 assists in 41 games. It wouldn't be surprising to see him finish the 2013-14 campaign with something close to that point-per-game pace.

Brad Marchand has four points in the past four games.

Marchand has been a pleasant surprise for fantasy owners with 17 goals and 17 assists in 40 games this season. Marchand can also help your fantasy team with precious shorthanded points as well as power play points. He also owns a very solid plus-22 rating in this 48-game shortened season. Surprisingly however, his scrappy nature hasn't earned him many penalty minutes in 2013.

It's official, Marchand will play. Likely on the 1st line with Lucic demoted to the 4th as mentioned earlier.

No confirm yet that Marchand will play but he practiced with Bergeron and Seguin. Lucic was on the 4th line which is bad news for him.

He just resumed skating on Sunday and was cleared for contact on Tuesday. Marchand leads the Bruins with 16 goals and 33 points in 38 games this season. Get him back in your lineup if you normally would.

Brad Marchand (concussion) has been cleared to practice with contact.

Marchand has been sidelined since suffering a mild concussion last week against the Devils. Now that he's been cleared for contact, it's possible Marchand could return by the end of this week. We'll update you as soon as we know more.
