Milan Lucic LW BOS 13 Mins

Lucic scored a goal and added an assist in Saturday's 5-1 win over Arizona. It's his first multi-point game since Jan. 29.

His 34 points this season project to a woeful 45 by year end and that's a significant drop-off from an expected 60. Even his 13 goals so far mean he'll be lucky to hit 18 if he maintains his current pace. He's been a fantasy anchor on many a squad; we're not really forecasting much of a change over the next 20 games.

Lucic notched the game-winning goal in Sunday's 6-2 victory over the Blackhawks.

Lucic had failed to record a goal in his previous seven games, and no points in his last four. The winger is still as ornery as ever with 185 hits and 73 PIM on the season, but he's seen his offense totals decrease across the board. He's on pace to fall below the 50-point mark for the first 82-game season since 2009-10.

Lucic found the back of the net in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Rangers.

The status of Lucic was in question leading up to the matchup against the Rangers because he was dealing with flu-like symptoms. Still, he was on the ice for 15:53, which was just over a minute less than his average this season. The goal from Lucic is a great sign that he isn't affected by the illness.

Lucic (illness) was on the ice for pregame warmups Wednesday, the Bruins' official site reports.

Lucic sat out Boston's morning skate while continuing to deal with flu-like symptoms, but fully expected to play in the evening contest against the Rangers. He'll likely resume his regular role on the Bruins' top line.

Lucic (illness) was absent from the Bruins' morning skate, but still plans to play Wednesday against the Rangers, Joe Haggerty of CSN New England reports.

Lucic hasn't even arrived in New York with the rest of the team yet, as he stayed behind in Boston for the night to rest up from the flu. The team still seems optimistic that he'll suit up Wednesday, but there's still some risk of him serving being scratched since he hasn't skate the last two days. His availability may not be known for certain until the Bruins conduct their pregame warmups 30 minutes before Wednesday's 8:00 ET start time.

Lucic missed Tuesday's practice with the flu, and while he won't travel with his teammates, he may still be able to play in Wednesday's game against the Rangers, ESPN Boston's Joe McDonald reports.

Given that the trip isn't a long one, Lucic still stands a decent chance to play, even though he's sticking behind in Boston. The issue was first reported Tuesday.

Lucic was not at practice Tuesday.

Lucic isn't known to be dealing with an injury, but his absence from practice suggests that he's bothered by something. More information should be available before Wednesday's game against the Rangers.

Lucic tallied a pair of assists, an empty-net goal, five hits and a plus-3 rating in Thursday's win over the Isles.

Things have been very inconsistent for Lucic lately -- earlier this month, he tallied six points in four games, creating hope of a resurgence, but he proceeded to go scoreless in three straight, only to bounce back with four points in his last two. So the total numbers recently have been quite solid, but they've come in fits and starts. The Bruins would surely like to get some more offensive consistency out of the tough winger.

Lucic scored a goal, added an assist and finished plus-2 in Tuesday's win over the Lightning.

That's three multi-point efforts in the last four for Lucic, giving him six points and a plus-6 rating in that span. Not coincidentally, the Bruins have won all four games. A continued offensive resurgence for Lucic would be a major boon for the Bruins, who were definitely set back by his lackluster contributions early in the season.

Lucic opened the scoring with a power-play goal (which held up as the winner) and finished things with an empty-netter in Thursday's 3-0 win over the Devils.

Don't look now, but Lucic may just be finding his game -- he's now posted consecutive multi-point outings for the first time all season. And he's doing it while continuing to take the body, giving him plentiful fantasy value in formats that count his PIM and hits.
