Little registered a power-play goal and added two penalty minutes in his 21:53 of action Friday night against the Lightning.

The goal was the Jets first with the man-advantage this season, and puts Little just one away from 100 career goals during his time with the franchise. The 26-year-old center doesn't receive a ton of buzz relative to the league's other top pivots, but he's a fairly reliable source for 20 goals and 50 points most seasons.

Little finished the preseason with two goals and no assists in three appearances.

Little had a career high in points last season, scoring 23 goals and 41 assists in all 82 games. It is definitely possible that his stats increase this year alongside linemates Michael Frolik and Andrew Ladd but they should remain around the same level as last season. Little could be a steal in later rounds due to the heavily-loaded Central Division so look out for him as a value pick.
