Lehtonen stopped just 22 of 25 shots and was on the wrong end of Jonathan Bernier's 43-save shutout Tuesday in a 4-0 loss to the Leafs.

Just a few precious days ago, Lehtonen was sitting on a three-game winning streak and was looking like he was ready to resurrect his season ... and then he delivered two absolute clunkers in a row. Usually one of the most reliable fantasy options around, Lehtonen has been anything but on a Stars team that has been severely lacking in defensive awareness this year.

Lehtonen led the Stars on the ice for pregame warmups and will garner the start Tuesday against the Maple Leafs, NHL.com's Mark Stepneski reports.

Jonathan Bernier will man the opposite crease for the Leafs as Lehtonen looks to rebound from a horrid outing against the Oilers that resulted in his early removal. Though the Stars ended up coming back to win that match, the fact that Lehtonen saw a strong three-game stretch come to a resounding thud against the league's worst team illustrates just how untrustworthy he's been for fantasy owners this season. Start him at your own peril.

Lehtonen was the first goalie off the ice at morning skate and is thus in line to start Saturday against the Maple Leafs, NHL.com's Mark Stepneski reports.

Lehtonen will look to have a bounce-back performance after being pulled midway through his last start on Sunday against the Oilers. Lehtonen is 13-7-5 on the season with a 2.99 GAA and a .904 save percentage. While Lehtonen's number's haven't been great, lately he has benefited from improved defensive play from his team mates and has a win in four of his last five results.

Lehtonen allowed four goals on 19 shots before being pulled midway through the second period in Sunday's 6-5 win against the Oilers.

Lehtonen was spared of the loss as his mates rallied from 5-2 down to get the overtime win, but the 31-year-old had an off night as he allowed three goals in less than 10 minutes of work in the second period. His numbers haven't been great, with a 2.99 GAA and save percentage of just .904, but Lehtonen still sports a 13-7-5 record and has a win in four of his last five results.

Lehtonen will start in the crease Sunday against the Oilers, Mike Heika of Dallas Morning News reports.

Lehtonen is coming off a good three-game stretch in net, allowing just four goals over that span. He will look to make it four Sunday against the Oilers, carrying a .907 save percentage and 2.89 GAA into the matchup.

Lehtonen was great again Friday, thwarting 21 of 22 shots in a 2-1 victory over the Flames.

The victory marks the third in a row and fourth in five games for the Finnish twine-tender, who hasn't had to make more than 28 saves in those outings, suggesting Dallas' defense is starting to play better. Lehtonen owns a 2.89 GAA and 9.07 save percentage to go with a 13-7-5 record this season, and could be in for an uptick in wins should the Stars be able to continue playing well.

Lehtonen will be between the pipes Friday against the Flames, Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News reports.

There were some rumblings that backup Anders Lindback might be called upon for a spot start Friday, but Lehtonen seemed to quiet that talk by submitting a shutout performance his last time out against the Canucks on Wednesday. Though the 27-save effort just barely brought his GAA under 3.00 for the season, Lehtonen might not be an awful lineup choice against a Flames squad that has dropped its last six games.

Lehtonen stopped all 27 shots in a 2-0 shutout win over the Canucks on Wednesday. It was his second shutout of the season.

The goose egg improves Lehtonen's record to 12-7-5 on the year, although his numbers (2.97 GAA, .906 save percentage) are slightly worse than his career averages of 2.68 and .914. He's still one of the more talented goalies in the league and has a shot at becoming a top-10 fantasy netminder if the Stars can find a way to play well more consistently as the first half of the season winds down.

Lehtonen was the first goalie off the ice at the Stars' gameday skate and is slated to start Wednesday against the Canucks, Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News reports.

Lehtonen has alternated wins in losses in his previous four December starts, continuing a trend of rather inconsistent play this season. He'll catch a bit of a break in matching up against Canucks backup goalie Eddie Lack on Tuesday, but it's still difficult to trust him at this point. The last time Lehtonen played Vancouver, he came away with a 6-3 victory during which he faced 46 shots. It wouldn't be shocking if another barnburner broke out again Wednesday.

Lehtonen stopped 28 of 31 shots in Saturday's win over the Devils.

A good bounce-back outing for Lehtonen, who was pulled in his last game Tuesday after giving up three goals on 17 shots. The 31-year-old is now 11-7-5 on the season with a .902 save percentage and 3.10 GAA. While his rate stats aren't great, Lehtonen is a workhorse in Dallas and rarely gets the night off. He has allowed two even-strength goals or less in his last three starts and is likely to build off a strong performance Saturday. Keep him rolling.
