Pierre-Cedric Labrie has been outstanding so far in training camp.
Labrie signed a one-year/one-way contract in July with the Lightning and the 26-year-old wants to play at the NHL level rather than collect his salary in the AHL. His effort in all aspects of the game has been terrific. "That's what I do," Labrie, said. "It's practice, game energy, forecheck, backcheck, always go as hard as I can. Every shift I give 100 percent. That's the way I am." Labrie had two goals and three points in 19 NHL games last season. He is not worth selecting in fantasy pools.
