The beat goes on for Kopitar, who is now up to 37 points in 44 games despite a horrendous start to the season. He's not shooting the puck all that much (77 shots on goal) but owners won't mind as long as he keeps earning his way onto the scoresheet with regularity as has been the case over the last 16 games (24 points).

Kopitar had a hand in both of the Kings' goals in their 2-0 win over the Leafs on Monday. He dished out an assist and supplied the game-winning goal in his 17:21 of ice time.
The sizzling Kopitar made his mark on the game right away, scoring 37 seconds into the contest to give Kings goalie Martin Jones all the support he would need on the evening. Kopitar has been absolutely sensational since mid-December, quelling any doubts about his standing as one of the game's best centers. He's recorded a mind-boggling 21 points (four goals, 17 assists) over his last 12 games.

Kopitar is now riding a three-game point streak and has a whopping 18 points in his last 10 games. After a slow start, Kopitar has turned things around big time, with five of his last 10 outings being multi-point efforts. With nine goals (five on the power play) and 32 points in 39 games on the season, the top-line center is once again proving to be one of the most lethal fantasy options around. Keep him rolling.

Kopitar has been a one-man wrecking crew since mid-December, racking up a staggering 16 points over his last nine games. With 29 points in 36 games, he's inching closer to the point per-game pace we've all come to expect from Kopi after a disastrous start that saw him record just 13 points in his first 28 games.

Kopitar notched a goal and assist -- both of the power-play variety -- in Saturday's win over the Sharks.
After sleepwalking through the first two and a half months of the season, Kopitar has been dialed in offensively over his last five games. During that time, he's rattled off two goals and 10 assists, quelling any talk about him no longer being one of the game's elite pivots.

Kopitar dished out three helpers in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Coyotes.
Now this is more like it. After registering as one of the fantasy hockey's bigger disappointments for the first two and a half months, Kopitar has now produced eight points over his last two contests, with five coming on the power play. That massive uptick in production has vaulted up his season total to a still-substandard 22 points in 31 games, but it at least gives him a fighter's chance of reaching the 70-point plateau again if he can manage a point-per-game pace the rest of the way.

Kopitar turned in a massive game Thursday against the Blues, scoring a goal and dishing out four assists -- three of them on the power play -- in a 6-4 win.
Welcome to the season, Mr. Kopitar. He'd collected only four points in the last 12 games, so Kopitar produced more offense Thursday than he had in the entire month prior. Although he'd produced a couple points over the last four games, Kopitar had managed to go an impressive minus-8 in that span, dropping him into the negatives for the season. He hasn't finished with a negative rating since 2008-98. And even with the huge evening, he still only sports a modest 19 points in 30 games on the year. This was nice, but more consistency would be nicer.

Kopitar bagged a power-play goal in Thursday's 5-3 victory over the Senators.
Kopitar sent a backhander past Sens goalie Craig Anderson to shift the momentum back to the Kings' side after the opposition had scored shorthanded just 36 seconds earlier. The tally snapped a 10-game goal drought for Kopitar, who had also gone without an assist in the previous three matches. With only 13 points in 26 games on the season, Kopitar is on track for what would be by far the worst season of his nine-year career.

Kopitar ended a five-game scoring slump with a pair of assists Tuesday in a 2-1 win over the Bruins.
Things have been awfully slow for Kopitar this year, as he's got just a dozen points to show for 22 games -- by far the worst scoring pace of his career. Not coincidentally, he's shooting at the lowest rate of his career, with just 36 shots on goal so far. We already saw Kopitar's shot rate decline last year, but it was forgivable when he scored 70 points anyway. If this latest decline persists -- and he's shown no sign of coming out of it lately -- Kopitar will be in danger of losing his elite status. But at just 27 years old and with not much history of injury, he shouldn't be seeing his skills degrade like this already. There may be an unknown factor at play here.

Kopitar struggled at times to start the season but looks to have ironed out those issues lately. He now has seven points in his last five games after recording just three points in his first 11 games to start the season.
