Tim Kennedy skated on San Jose's fourth line at Friday's practice.
The Sharks will have to replace Adam Burish (upper body) when the second round of the playoffs begins and coach Todd McLellan hasn't made a decision yet who will play. "I wouldn't read a lot into anybody that practices there this week," McLellan said of the fourth line spot. "We'll keep that open. We have a number of different choices." Martin Havlat is questionable for Round 2 as well, so Kennedy could be called upon to fill in like he did in Game 2 against Vancouver in the quarterfinals.
