Both of the Chicago Blackhawks' goals came from defensemen in their Game 3 loss to the Minnesota Wild on Sunday.

Johnny Oduya and Duncan Keith found the net, with Keith's tally sending the game into overtime. It wasn't enough, however, as the Wild ended up reducing the Blackhawks' series lead to 2-1.

The Chicago Blackhawks looked strong in defeating the Minnesota Wild 5-2 Friday night and taking a 2-0 lead in their opening-round playoff series.

Yet Chicago defenseman Duncan Keith isn't satisfied. "I don't think we ever go through a whole game where we do everything we want to do," Keith said. "I think we were better (Friday) than last game, but I still think that we can be better overall."

The Blackhawks will rest a lot of their star players tonight.

Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith got into a testy exchange with a female Vancouver radio reporter after Monday's loss to the Canucks.

Karen Thomson thought Keith should have been penalized for a two-handed stick swipe he took as Daniel Sedin finished his breakaway in the second period for the Canucks' third goal. The exchange has sparked a lot of discussion in Vancouver this week. Keith suggested Thomson didn't know hockey but was acting like she did before brushing her off with a "See ya" comment. Truth is, it does look like the referee missed the stick swipe.

The Chicago Blackhawks have switched up their defensive pairings.

The moves paid off as the Blackhawks defeated Detroit 7-1 Sunday. Duncan Keith was paired with Niklas Hjalmarsson while Brent Seabrook played alongside Nick Leddy and Johnny Oduya and Michal Rozsival made up the third unit. Keith leads the Chicago blueline with 21 points with 19 of his points assists. He should be active in all fantasy pools that use defensemen.
