Tim Jackman RW ANA 24 Days

Jackman took pregame rushes in advance of Wednesday's matchup with the Sharks, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.

Jackman was activated from the injured reserve Wednesday, though it wasn't originally clear whether or not he would suit up for the New Year's Eve tilt. His participation in pregame warmups suggests he'll be available to provide the Ducks with offensive depth.

Jackman (head) was activated from injured reserve Wednesday.

The activation would suggest that Jackman will be available for Wednesday's rematch with the Sharks. Jackman had been forced out of the game against San Jose prior to the Christmas break following a hit to the head, but it doesn't sound like he suffered any significant concussion symptoms. He'll be plugged back in on the Ducks' fourth line.

Jackman (head) received clearance to return to game action Wednesday, Curtis Pashelka of the San Jose Mercury News reports.

It's not yet known if coach Bruce Boudreau will include Jackman in his lineup Wednesday versus the Sharks, against whom the winger first suffered the head injury following a punch to the head from John Scott. Though Scott will remain under suspension for Wednesday's contest to defuse the potential for a brawl ensuing, Jackman is still listed on injured reserve for the Ducks. Boudreau could just opt to have Jackman sit out an extra game before making his return over the weekend.

Tim Jackman RW ANA 26 Days

Jackman (head) was able to skate Monday, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.

It doesn't sound like Jackman has been cleared to take contact yet, making his return date relatively uncertain at this juncture. He's expected to miss his third straight game Wednesday.

Tim Jackman RW ANA 27 Days

Jackman (head) was placed on injured reserve Sunday, Kevin Kurz of CSN Bay Area reports.

With Jackman unable to resume skating after taking a hit to the head last Monday, it would seem that the winger is suffering from the effects of a concussion. He'll be viewed as out indefinitely until he receives clearance to resume practicing.

Tim Jackman RW ANA 1 Month

Jackman will not return to Monday's game after taking a hit to the head from John Scott.

Jackman should be considered day-to-day until the Ducks release further information on his apparent head injury. Fortunately for Jackman, the Ducks have a significant break before they play the Coyotes on Saturday.

Jackman scored the game-tying goal, had an assist, and was credited with five shots on goal in Friday's win over the Wild.

A two-point night for Jackman? Now that is something you don't see every day. The fourth-liner has managed just three points (two goals) in 24 games this season, to go with 44 PIM. Considering he's only reached the 20-point mark once in his career, the 33-year-old isn't worth a look in fantasy unless your league places huge emphasis on PIM.

Jackman (illness) will be back in the lineup Tuesday against the Flames, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.

The Ducks will get Jackman back after he missed Sunday's game due to a case of the stomach flu, but will be without center William Karlsson on account of the same ailment Tuesday night. It's probably not a fair trade off for the Ducks, but Jackman has been a key presence on the team's checking line. He's already accumulated 43 hits and 37 penalty minutes over 18 games.

Jackman is dealing with the stomach flu and will not play against the Panthers on Sunday, Curtis Zupke of NHL.com reports.

The next opportunity for Jackman to take the ice will be against the Flames on Tuesday. At this point, he should be considered day-to-day moving forward.

Tim Jackman RW ANA 3 Months

Jackman was credited with 21 PIM and five hits in Sunday's loss to the Sharks.

The fourth-line winger has one goal in nine games this season, while averaging 7:57 of ice time. Considering he has never recorded more than 23 points in a season, don't expect much from this depth forward. He leads the league with 38 PIM, but aside from that, he really doesn't provide much in fantasy.
