Mikhail Grabovski will move up to the Capitals' top line on Tuesday.

Grabovski returned from an ankle injury on Monday and Capitals coach Adam Oates was pleased with his performance. He will play alongside Jay Beagle and Alex Ovechkin.

The Washington Capitals get Mikhail Grabovski back in action against the Nashville Predators on Sunday.

Grabovski hasn't played since Feb. 27 because of a left ankle injury, so it's not shocking to hear that the team plans on bringing him along slowly. Even so, the 30-year-old's a worthy spot starter with 33 points in 50 games played this season, although he isn't great for peripheral stats (just 68 SOG in those 60 contests this season).

He hasn't played since Feb. 27 and he's missed 20 of the last 21 games because of a sprained left ankle. "He's got to go through a few practices before we consider games," coach Adam Oates said. "Possible, see how he responds tomorrow." There's a chance that he could be ready to return this weekend.

Grabovski suited up for the game after recovering from an ankle injury that kept him out of eight contests, but it's suspected he may have re-aggravated that same ailment. Stay tuned for more details.
