Frolik bagged an empty-net goal and attempted a team-leading five shots in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Stars.

Making his debut on the top line with Blake Wheeler (lower body) unavailable, Frolik didn't look to be at all out of place. With Wheeler already ruled out for Thursday's game against the Blues, look for Frolik to remain in the role for at least another game. He could deliver fine value in daily formats while his price remains depressed.

With Blake Wheeler (undisclosed) absent, Frolik skated on the first line at Tuesday's morning skate, according to Ed Tait of the Winnipeg Free Press

If Wheeler doesn't suit up, Frolik is poised to join the first line alongside Andrew Ladd and Bryan Little. Wheeler, Ladd and Little have all played in every game this season, each scoring between 44 and 49 points. Frolik has also played all 61 games, with 30 points (12 goals) to show for it.

Frolik scored his first goal since Jan. 18 -- and his first point since Jan. 29 -- on Thursday, with his power-play tally accounting for the lone Winnipeg goal in a 3-1 loss to the Predators. That was six straight without a point and nine straight without a goal for the Czech winger before he became the lone Jet to break through on Pekka Rinne in this one. He remains a lower-end fantasy asset who's best reserved for deep leagues.

Frolik netted a goal and logged 19:29 worth of ice time in Sunday's 4-3 shootout win over the Coyotes.

Frolik has started off the New Year strong, and has tallied six points in his last six contests. The 26-year-old is now up to 10 goals on the season, and with 26 points through 47 games he should be able to challenge his career-high mark of 45 points.

Frolik opened the scoring in Thursday's 2-1 win over Dallas with his ninth goal of the season, giving him points in four straight games.

All four of the points Frolik had collected over the prior three games were assists, so it must have felt nice for him to punch in his first goal of the new year. Frolik's been a solid source of secondary offense in fantasy over the last couple months and isn't showing signs of slowing down.

Frolik picked up a pair of assists and went a season-high plus-4 in Tuesday's 8-2 romp against Florida.

Frolik's been producing steadily of late, with five assists over his last five games, but his goal-scoring remains highly intermittent, with the last one having come before the new year. Still, he's carrying a slightly better point pace than last season and could challenge his career high of 45, set in his rookie year of 2008-09 with the Panthers.

Frolik tallied an assist in Saturday's win over the Kings.

Frolik is off to a modest start to the new year, producing no goals and two assists while attempting 12 shots over four games. Though he's a member of the Jets' second line and second power-play unit, Frolik typically doesn't produce with enough consistency to make him much more than just a guy to ride when he's hot.

Frolik bagged his eighth goal of the season in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Wild.

Frolik has contributed a goal and two assists over his last four contests, but a minus-2 rating during that span has sullied those achievements a bit. He's a fairly reliable depth scorer on the second line for the Jets, but probably not someone worth owning in most formats unless he enjoys a prolonged hot streak.

Frolik scored a shorthanded goal, contributed an assist and went plus-3 in Tuesday's 5-1 win over Buffalo.

Frolik's run of productivity continues -- he now has six points and a plus-4 rating over the last four games. His offense only comes in fits and starts, but there's a use for what he can contribute in deeper formats -- especially if your league rewards you for the three shorties he's scored.

Frolik picked up a pair of assists -- one on the power play -- Thursday in a shootout loss to Colorado.

That's four points in two games now for Frolik after he'd managed just a lonely goal in the prior seven games. While he's been inconsistent thus far, it wouldn't be a surprise to see him end up clearing 40 points for the fourth time in his career.
