Foligno scored two goals -- one on a power play -- and added a power-play assist in Thursday's 5-4 overtime loss to Washington.

On the dark side of things, he went minus-1 and lost eight out of nine faceoffs. But hey, it's a three-point night, so let's not nitpick too much -- especially now that Foligno's officially a point-per-game man, with 30 in 30.

Foligno scored the Jackets' first goal and then found net on an overtime power play to deliver a 3-2 win over Washington on Thursday.

Another fine effort by Foligno, who continues to own nearly a point-per-game pace despite his somewhat on-again, off-again scoring over the last few weeks. His 26 points are just one short of Ryan Johansen's team-leading 27, and he's on pace to blow past his personal records in basically every category here in his age-27 campaign.

Foligno potted his 11th goal of the season in Thursday's shootout win over the Panthers.

Foligno also chipped in seven hits defensively, making for a solid all-around performance for the winger, who has probably been the Jackets' best offensive threat outside of Ryan Johansen this season. The 27-year-old has seen his production taper off slightly in the last three weeks, but he's still picking up points with enough regularity to remain worthy of rostering in most formats.

Foligno bagged his tenth goal of the season and added an assist in Friday's shootout loss to Boston.

After being held off the scoresheet in the last two games, it didn't take long for Foligno to get back on track. The 27-year-old now has 20 points in 18 games, to go with a tidy plus-4 rating. A known 40-point guy producing at a point-per-game pace in 2014-15? This can't be real life, can it? Foligno is thriving on the top line and doesn't appear to be slowing down. He won't keep producing at this torrid pace, but he should post career totals. Ride him while he's hot.

Foligno's hand is reportedly fine after he appeared to injure it during a fight late in Tuesday's loss to the Red Wings, Aaron Portzline of the Columbus Dispatch reports.

Foligno headed to the locker room about midway through the third period and didn't return, but it sounds like the Blue Jackets were just holding him out for precautionary purposes since the game had already devolved into a blowout. The winger did require some dental work after the game, but it shouldn't impact his availability for the Jackets' next game Friday versus the Bruins.

Foligno headed to the locker room after hurting his hand following a third-period fight with Brendan Smith in Tuesday's 5-0 loss to the Red Wings, Aaron Portzline of the Columbus Dispatch reports.

It was a rather pointless fight with the Blue Jackets trailing 4-0 at the time, and the team can only hope Foligno didn't pay a major price for his misdeeds. The Blue Jackets may have just chosen to hold Foligno out for the remainder of the contest since the outcome was already decided, but expect further information on his condition to become available following Wednesday's practice.

Foligno scored twice and added an assist in Friday's win over Philadelphia.

Foligno continues to be one of the biggest surprises this season, recording nine goals and 18 points in 15 games thus far. Playing on the top line and top power-play unit, Foligno has notched five power-play goals this season -- tied for tops in the NHL. Considering the 27-year-old only managed 39 points in 70 games last season, what he has accomplished so far in 2014-15 is simply remarkable. Who saw an offensive breakout coming for Foligno in his eighth NHL season? He will slow down, but still expect him to post career numbers.

Foligno scored a goal and an assist, both on the power play, in Saturday's 7-4 loss to the Lightning.

He now has three multi-point games in his last four, and 15 points (seven goals, eight assists) in 13 games on the year. Foligno has been one of the few bright spots on an almost comically-undermanned Blue Jackets roster that has been crippled by injuries, but as long as he continues to see top-six ice time Foligno's capable of staying hot.

Foligno was the only Blue Jacket able to penetrate Cam Ward in Tuesday's loss to Carolina, scoring two goals (one on the power play) on four shots.

After opening the season on a six-game point streak, he went scoreless over a three-game stretch, but has bounced back with consecutive multi-point efforts. The fifth and sixth goals of the year for Foligno push his point total to 13 in just 11 contests -- a stunning early-season breakout for a guy who's only exceeded 40 points one time in seven NHL seasons.

Foligno scored a goal and added an assist in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Devils. He now has 11 points, including four goals, in his last 10 games.

He had a scare in the second period when he was hit in the face with a puck. He went to the dressing room for evaluation, but was able to return in the third period. Right now, he's on a pace that would outstrip his career numbers by a huge margin. Take advantage -- regression to the mean will occur soon.
