Foligno found the net on one of his three shot attempts in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Islanders, extending his point streak to five games.Foligno has been a popular "sell-high" candidate since he opened the season with three goals and six assists in his first six games, but it seems safe to say that his performance is no longer an aberration. He's gone no more than three games without a point this season, and has been sizzling since serving as one of the captains for the All-Star Game. In nine second-half contests, Foligno has notched four goals and six assists to maintain a roughly point-per-game scoring pace for the season.

Foligno chipped in his 21st goal of the season in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Senators. It stood as the game winner.

He has four points, including three goals, in his last two games. At this point, every point is gravy as he enters uncharted territory -- his 49 points are a career best and he's done it in just 50 games. Use him while he's hot, but keeper leaguers should weigh his value in trade. This peak is coming at age 27 and in his eighth season. Given today's NHL, that kind of outburst feels like it's coming a little late. We're not saying it's not repeatable, but you need to weigh your options, particularly if you're out of the running.

Fresh off his two-point All-Star Game performance, Foligno kept things going. He'd been cool heading into the break, with just a single point in his prior four games, but Foligno's rise to power continues nonetheless. With 44 points, he's just three shy of his career high now.

He has 40 points in just 39 games this season. There's a chance this level of play might be real -- he is just 27, after all. And that's when a lot of players used to break out. But the NHL is a changed place and we're not entirely sure he fits the profile of a true point-per-game guy. Bottom line? Keeper owners may want to leverage his value in a deadline deal. There are some things you want to hold onto there are others you don't want to get stuck with. There's a chance he's the latter.

He's been having a spectacular season so far, and is on pace for career-highs in both goals and assists. The 27-year-old has been both a force on the power play, and one of the fantasy surprises of 2014-15.

Foligno tallied his ninth power-play goal of the season in Saturday's 6-2 victory over the Bruins.

Foligno has been a terror on the man advantage all season, tallying 17 of his 31 points when the Jackets have an extra skater. The recent returns from injury of Brandon Dubinsky and most recently, Scott Hartnell resulted in Foligno getting pushed down to the third line to start Saturday's game, but he still saw over 20 minutes of ice time. No matter who he lines up with, Foligno remains rosterable in any format until he notices a prolonged slump in what has been a dream season to this point.
