Tomas Fleischmann recorded a goal in Florida's 6-5 overtime loss to Washington Tuesday night.

He leads his Florida club in scoring this season with 10 points in 12 games. Fleischmann has been the Panthers' most consistent offensive threat this year, but he hasn't been the same player that racked up 27 goals and 61 points in 2011-12. If and when Stephen Weiss and Kris Versteeg can pick up their games there should be a closer resemblance to the team's most dangerous trio from last season.

Tomas Fleischmann scored his third goal of the season in a 3-2 overtime loss to Winnipeg Tuesday.

Fleischmann has been one of the few bright lights for the struggling Panthers, as he has recorded eight points in nine games. Jonathan Huberdeau registered a goal in the loss while Brian Campbell, Kris Versteeg, Drew Shore and Mike Weaver picked up assists.

Tomas Fleischmann assisted on three goals to lead the Florida Panthers to a 6-3 win over Winnipeg Thursday.

The Panthers had six different players score goals in the win, including rookie Jonathan Huberdeau, Brian Campbell, Tomas Kopecky, Peter Mueller, Alexei Kovalev and Kris Versteeg. Fleischmann now has two goals and seven points but his minus-six rating really hurts his fantasy owners.

Tomas Fleischmann scored his second goal of the season in a 5-2 loss to Tampa Bay Tuesday.

The entire Panthers roster seems to have gotten off to a slow start, but four points in six contests isn't a terrible way to begin. The return of Kris Versteeg should be a positive development for the winger. Peter Mueller scored his second goal of the season in the loss.

Tomas Fleischmann had to play Thursday's game without linemates Stephen Weiss and Kris Versteeg as both players sat with injuries.

Weiss was a late scratch for the match with a lower-body ailment, while Versteeg hasn't played yet this season due to what is believed to be a groin injury. Now, Fleischmann's availability for Saturday's game against Philadelphia may be in doubt as well after he showed a blood-soaked sock to the media following Thursday's loss to Ottawa. We'll keep him as active for now, but we'll let you know if his status changes.
