Tomas Fleischmann LW FLA 16 Days

Fleischmann recorded an assist and three shots on goal in Tuesday's 8-2 loss to the Jets.

Though the Panthers were thoroughly whipped in this one, Fleischmann at least managed to salvage something from it, extending his point streak to three games. The 30-year-old has typically bounced around the lineup throughout the season for the Panthers, but if he's able to sustain the scoring pace for a few more games, he could solidify a top-six role.

Fleischmann picked up a goal and an assist in Friday's 6-5 win over the Flames.

Fleischmann was one of nine players with multi-point outings in what was a wild affair at the Saddledome. In 33 games this year, the 30-year-old Czech now has 11 points, a plus-8 rating and 64 shots on goal -- a far cry from his 61-point debut season in Sunrise in 2011-12.

Fleischmann (undisclosed) is expected to return to the lineup Thursday against the Canucks, George Richards of the Miami Herald reports.

After missing the previous two games due to injury, Fleischmann got in a full practice Tuesday, skating on a line with Sean Bergenheim and Dave Bolland. Since Brandon Pirri and Vincent Trocheck skated as extras, it looks like both will be the healthy scratches at forward, ushering Fleischmann back into action.

Fleischmann (undisclosed) returned to practice Tuesday, George Richards of the Miami Herald reports.

Fleischmann had been out of commission for the Panthers' two weekend games after injuring himself during Friday's morning skate. It appears he's healed up well with the time off, and it seems like a good bet that he'll be ready to go for the Panthers' next game Thursday in Vancouver.

Fleischmann (undisclosed) is doubtful to play Sunday against the Capitals, George Richards of the Miami Herald reports.

After leaving Friday's gameday skate with an injury, Fleischmann failed to return to the ice for Saturday's practice. If he ends up missing his second consecutive game as expected, look for Brandon Pirri to occupy his lineup spot once again.

Fleischmann appears in line to miss Friday's game against the Sabres after suffering an injury during the team's morning skate, George Richards of the Miami Herald reports.

Fleischmann appeared to pull something during the session, skating gingerly off the ice and not returning. The Panthers should have a more definitive update on his condition in the coming days, but it looks like Brandon Pirri will occupy his lineup spot Friday.

Fleischmann will play in Tuesday's game against the Canadiens, George Richards of the Miami Herald reports.

A healthy scratch since Dec. 20, Fleischmann will replace Tomas Kopecky in the lineup. With no injury reported for Kopecky, the Panthers may just be swapping one veteran for another in the lineup..

Fleischmann was a healthy scratch for Monday's win over the Penguins.

Fleischmann had been held without a point in his last four games, and with the Panthers set to enjoy a four-day break for the holidays, coach Gerard Gallant chose to gave the veteran forward a head start on resting up. The 30-year-old was holding down a top-six role for the Panthers earlier in December, but the opportunity to reclaim that perch may no longer exist for Fleischmann with his production starting to tapering off the last couple of weeks.

Tomas Fleischmann LW FLA 2 Months

Fleischmann notched a goal on one of his four shot attempts and finished with a plus-2 rating in Friday's shootout victory over the Red Wings.

Just when he looked like he would be phased out of a prominent role on the Panthers' attack, Fleischmann has busted out with points in four consecutive games, going a collective plus-5 during that stretch. He saw a season-high 20:47 of ice time Friday and should remain on fertile ground as the member of the top trio with Jonathan Huberdeau and budding star Nick Bjugstad. Fleischmann is worth scooping up in deeper formats if he's still available on the waiver wire.

Fleischmann scored a goal on four shots and added an assist in Thursday's shootout loss to the Jackets.

His second-period goal started the Panthers on a comeback from a 3-0 deficit, and he assisted on Nick Bjugstad's tally 2:10 later to draw the team within one. This is a shining moment in what's been an awful season for Fleischmann, who scored his only other goal of the year Nov. 11 and has just five points on his ledger in 22 games.
