Fisher netted a power-play goal in Saturday's loss to the Red Wings.

There's on fire, and then there's Mike Fisher. The center might have gotten off to a late start this season, but he's been absolutely tremendous since making his debut on Thanksgiving Day. He's now tallied a point in six consecutive games, including four goals.

Fisher picked up a goal and an assist Tuesday in a win over Vancouver, giving him points in four straight games.

He's gone plus-1 in each of those contests to go with his three goals and two assists. After missing most of the first two months with injury and offering little initial production upon returning, Fisher's suddenly shifted into midseason gear and now has a quite respectable 16 points in 21 games.

Fisher picked up a goal and five PIM in Saturday's win over the Wild.

The points have been coming fairly steadily for Fisher since about mid-December, as he's recorded seven goals and five assists over a span for 14 games. The sample is starting to become too large to write off as an aberration; go ahead and grab him off the wire while he continues to produce.

Fisher notched the first of seven Nashville goals in Saturday's 7-6 triumph over the Kings.

Fisher jammed home a wrist shot by Roman Josi less than five minutes into the first period, serving as a harbinger of what was to come in the high-scoring affair. Mr. Underwood has been a force in the Preds' top-six since returning from an Achilles injury on Thanksgiving Day, tallying five goals and 11 points across 16 contests.

Fisher scored a power-play goal and added an assist in Saturday's win over the Flyers.

Fisher has heated up of late, recording four goals and nine points in his last 10 games. The Predators, who currently sit third in the Western Conference, have been getting production from all lines this season, including Fisher's unit with James Neal and Colin Wilson. Although he missed the start of the season with an Achilles injury, Fisher could still reach 20 goals and 40 points in 2014-15. He has appeared on the scoresheet in seven of his last 10 games, making him worthy of a look right now.

Fisher scored his third goal of the season Monday against the Blue Jackets.

Fisher has been outstanding since returning from an Achilles injury at the end of November, notching seven points in 11 games. Playing on the second line with Colin Wilson and Matt Cullen, Fisher is part of a very balanced Preds attack that is firing on all cylinders right now. Get him back in your lineups if you've been avoiding using him.

Fisher scored his first goal of the year on a first-period power play Thursday in a 5-1 rout of the Coyotes. He also added an assist and went plus-1 over 16:41 of ice time.

Fisher opened with three quiet games after missing the start of the year with an Achilles injury, but now has four points in his last four contests and has generally looked more active on the offensive end. There's fantasy value in a variety of formats here.

Fisher made his season debut for the Preds during Thursday's 1-0 overtime win against the Oilers. He logged nearly 13 minutes of ice time, was 9-for14 on faceoffs and had three hits. Fisher, who underwent surgery in July for a ruptured Achilles tendon, said after the game that his foot "felt better than I thought it would at this point".

Going forward, you should expect Fisher's ice time to increase as coach Peter Laviolette gradually eases him back into a top-six role. He may not see the 18-19 minutes he was used to seeing back when he was centering the Preds' top line, but 16-17 minutes per night is probably a reasonable expectation.

Fisher (Achilles) will be activated from the non-roster injury list and make his season debut Thursday against the Oilers.

Fisher was a full participant in morning skate and was cleared for a return to action by the team's medical staff on Thanksgiving Day, just like he had been planning all along after suffering the Achilles injury back in July. He's set to center the third line with Olli Jokinen and Derek Roy, but it wouldn't be surprising if coach Peter Laviolette experiments with different mates for Fisher over the course of the game in an effort to determine where he fits in best.

Fisher (Achilles) was on the ice for Thursday's morning skate, centering a line between Olli Jokinen and Derek Roy, according to Brooks Bratten of the Preds' official website.

Fisher has been targeting a Thanksgiving Day return to the lineup ever since undergoing surgery July 3, and here we are, right on schedule. We expect some sort of announcement regarding his availability against the Oilers Thursday evening, so stay tuned.
