Jhonas Enroth G BUF 21 Hrs
Enroth made 33 saves but allowed four goals in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Bruins.
Enroth has now allowed four goals in three consecutive starts, and three or more in five straight. He's struggled for much of the season, with a 3.05 GAA and save percentage of .912 to go along with his 10-11-2 record. The team's been playing better in front of him lately though, so the 26-year-old could pick up more wins going forward.

Jhonas Enroth G BUF 1 Day
Enroth stopped just 18 of the 22 shots he faced as the Sabres took a 5-1 loss to the Avalanche on Saturday.
A porous defense has often been at fault for Enroth's rather middling ratios this season, but he'll probably bear most of the blame in this one. The 22 shots represented the fewest amount he had seen in a full outing all season, but Enroth simply didn't make enough saves. With the Buffalo offense unable to pick him up, Enroth saw his four-game winning streak come to a halt.

Enroth will be in the crease Saturday against the Avalanche, Bill Hoppe of the Olean Times Herald reports.
Enroth was given a rest in favor of backup Michal Neuvirth on Tuesday, but he'll back in action Saturday looking to extend his winning streak to four games. His offense has bailed him out in his last two turns, but by and large, Enroth has been outstanding since mid-November. For the moment, the Sabres no longer look like pushovers they appeared to be in the season's first month.

Enroth won his fourth straight game Monday, beating the Senators 5-4 in a shootout. He made 29 of 33 saves.
The wins just keep piling up for Enroth and the Sabres lately, as he's now up to 10 on the year -- nine of which have come in the last 11 games. Despite allowing four goals in this one, Buffalo has been playing some terrific hockey and Enroth actually makes for a great start while they're rolling. In 21 appearances this season, his numbers sit at .916 for save percentage and 2.96 for GAA.

Enroth will start between the pipes Monday against the Senators, John Vogl of the Buffalo News reports.
Enroth has picked up three straight wins, as the Sabres have gone on a surprisingly successful run lately. The start is excellent news for Enroth's fantasy owners, as he appears to be distancing himself from Michal Neuvirth in the battle for the starting job in Buffalo.

Enroth stopped only 25 of 28 shot attempts Saturday against the Panthers, but was able to come away with the victory in overtime.
Enroth's performance wasn't up to par with what we had seen from him over his last few turns, but if any goalie was deserving of some more offensive support, it was the Sabres netminder. His mates staked him to a 2-0 lead in the first period before Enroth gave it right back, until Nikita Zadorov ultimately bailed him out with the game-winner in overtime. He's now riding a three-game winning streak and has been victorious in eight of his last 10 turns.
Jhonas Enroth G BUF 9 Days
Enroth will be in goal Saturday against the Panthers, Mike Harrington of the Buffalo News reports.
Enroth has been seeing a ton of rubber lately, but it's only allowed him to build further fantasy value thanks to the huge save totals. Moreover, he's finally starting to pick up victories, as he's improbably won seven of his last nine starts. Given the lack of talent up and down the roster, it's unlikely the wins keep trickling in this steadily for Enroth, but a home start against a below-average Panthers offense will at least give him a soft landing spot.
Jhonas Enroth G BUF 11 Days
Enroth made 42 saves in a 4-3 win over Calgary on Thursday.
The Swedish Olympian is playing well despite what his stats may indicate. He faces a lot of shots but saves a lot of them, too, but only recently have the Sabres been able to garner a few wins. Enroth has now faced at least 34 shots in four of his past five games, four of which were wins. He improves to 8-10-1 on the season. Though Enroth may be playing well, he's still a risky play because the young Sabres remain inconsistent. However, it seems like Enroth has further solidified his position as the team's No. 1 netminder.

Enroth will slot back into the crease Thursday against the Flames.
In shutting out the Kings on Tuesday night, Enroth made coach Ted Nolan's decision on Thursday's starting goalie an easy one. Enroth has made the most of the opportunity for extended action presented by Michal Neuvirth's recent absence due to a lower-body injury, winning five of his last seven starts and posting a save percentage above .920 in all but one of those outings.
