Aulie has played in 76 NHL games over the past few seasons, amassing five points and 61 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-6 rearguard has six points in the NHL to go with 34 penalty minutes. He doesn't have any fantasy appeal if he makes the team.

Keith Aulie registered an assist in Syracuse's 3-0 shutout victory over the Adirondack Phantoms Friday night.
Aulie agreed to a one-year, two-way contract extension with Tampa in June and has three points in 11 games. He'll probably end up competing for a spot on the Lightning's third pairing when the season resumes and will not have any fantasy value.

The Lightning defenseman only contributed two points in 42 games with Tampa Bay and Toronto last season. He agreed to a one-year, two-way contract extension with Tampa in June.

Tampa is hoping to sign Keith Aulie to a minor league deal in the next few days so that the defenseman can play in the AHL with Syracuse during the NHL lockout.
A number of players with two-way contracts have already inked such deals with the Bolts including defensemen Evan Oberg and Matt Taormina, and forwards Mike Angelidis and Pierre-Cedric Labrie.
