Ehrhoff (concussion) took part in a full-contact practice Tuesday.
Coach Mike Johnston acknowledged after the session that Ehrhoff could be a possibility for Wednesday's game against the Capitals. The Penguins will check in on Ehrhoff's condition after Wednesday's morning skate before a decision on his status is reached. The blueliner's last apperance came on Jan. 28.

It seems that a return could be coming Sunday, but an official update on his status should be provided at some point.

Ehrhoff (concussion) took contact in Friday's practice, Seth Rorabaugh of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.Ehrhoff looks to be nearing the finish line in his recovery from the concussion, as taking full contact represents one of the final hurdles he'll have to clear. Coach Mike Johnston has ruled out a return to action Saturday against the Blues for the blueliner, but he could be ready to go for the second half of the Pens' back-to-back Sunday versus the Panthers.

"It was pretty limited (the contact) today. That's the first step, 1-on-1 contact then team battling drills. Until he gets into a team practice with heavier contact, then he's still several days away from there."
