Jordan Eberle RW EDM 10 Days

Eberle notched an assist and attempted three shots in Tuesday's win over the Capitals.

Eberle has been the focal point behind the Oilers' relative success in January on the heels of a miserable two months for the organization. He's notched five goals and three assists over nine games, sparking an offense that sorely needed somebody to step up.

Eberle accounted for the whole of the Oilers' offensive output Tuesday, scoring both the team's goals (one on the power play) in a 4-2 loss to Detroit.

With that, Eberle's finally cracked double-digit goals for the season. Although he's been a massive disappointment all year long for the miserable Oilers, Eberle's now sitting on a four-game point streak, perhaps signifying that he's emerging from his season-long struggles. That said, even if he does score more consistently, he's still a plus-minus liability for an Edmonton team that gives up a ton of goals.

Eberle scored his eighth goal of the season and had three shots on goal in Sunday's win over the Islanders.

Eberle is now riding a three-game point streak (two goals, one assist) and is up to 23 points in 39 games on the season. On pace for just 47 points, Eberle and his minus-12 rating have been a disappointment thus far. He's playing better of late, however, so if the Oilers can build off this five-goal outburst, the 24-year-old could turn his season around in the second half.

Eberle notched a goal on one of his five shot attempts in Wednesday's overtime loss to the Flyers.

Eberle isn't the primary culprit of the Oilers' miserable season, but he's still one of many of the team's young forwards to notice his production take a step backward. He's currently on pace to finish with 15 goals and 46 points, which would mark his lowest outputs for a non-lockout season since his rookie year.

Eberle tallied his fifth goal of the season in Monday's loss to the Coyotes.

The goal was Eberle's first in eight games, an unsurprising development given that the Oilers have struggled on the whole to generate offense during their 10-game losing streak. It's resulted in Eberle taking a significant hit to his plus/minus rating during that time, dropping him to minus-7 for the season.

Eberle potted his third goal of the season in Saturday's loss to the Canucks.

After a slow start, Eberle has come alive, recording three goals and five points in his last four games. Eberle possess a unique skill-set and should come maintain close to a point per game pace this season, skating on the top line with Taylor Hall and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins.

Eberle broke out with two goals and an assist in Friday's 6-3 win over the Hurricanes.

The goals were Eberle's long-awaited first two of the season, a welcome relief for a player who found the net 28 times in 2013-14. His first tally involved an impressive bit of work on both ends of the ice, as he picked off a Jay Harrison pass before finishing the possession off with a score on a 2-on-1 with teammate Taylor Hall. Despite the goal drought, Eberle has distributed the puck well enough in the Oilers' previous contests to keep him producing at close to a point-per-game clip on the season.

Eberle was a game-time decision for Wednesday's game, but he will take the ice after making it through pregame warmups without setback. Eberle will man his usual spot on the Oilers' top line.

Eberle (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision Wednesday against the Coyotes.

Eberle was ruled out of Tuesday's game after he was still hurting following a hard hit over the weekend, but he seems to have made at least a little bit of progress over night. The Oilers recalled winger Steve Pinizzotto from AHL Oklahoma City as insurance in case Eberle can't go, but it's Teddy Purcell that would likely receive the promotion to the Oilers' top line in his stead.

Eberle (undisclosed) won't play Tuesday against the Kings, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

Eberle was unable to skate at Monday's practice after taking a hard hit in Saturday's loss to the Canucks. He'll be joined in the press box by fellow injured top-liner Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (undisclosed), prompting the Oilers to call up Bogdan Yakimov from AHL Oklahoma City to add some depth to the forward ranks for Tuesday's tilt. The injury aside, Eberle has gotten off to a slow start offensively this season, mustering no points on five shots through the Oilers' first two games.
