Radek Dvorak is unlikely to return to the Anaheim Ducks this offseason.

Dvorak had four goals in nine games after signing with Anaheim late in the regular season, but the Czech winger didn't play in a single postseason game. At 36 years old, it's possible Dvorak's NHL career has come to an end.

Radek Dvorak scored his second and third goals of the season in the Anaheim Ducks 2-1 win over the Edmonton Oilers.

Dvorak has been a pleasent surprise for the Ducks, who brought the veteran winger in for depth purposes. He was playing in the Swiss League before this, so he was in game shape, but he is showing a scoring touch that we haven't seen since he was in Edmonton or when he was a youngster in New York. He's an excellent two way player that is showing he still has something left in the tank at age 36. He's probably not the most appealing fantasy option, but if you're in need of a plug and play, you could do worst than choosing someone who's playing with the resurgent Saku Koivu.

Radek Dvorak is making his Ducks debut Wednesday night.

The 16-year veteran was playing with HC Davos of the Swiss League before joining the Ducks on a prorated $675K deal. While it's great news for him, personally, to join such a great team, it's not news that should affect fantasy leagues as he won't be much of a factor.

Radek Dvorak cleared waivers Monday and is happy to back in the NHL with the Anaheim Ducks.

"I'm so glad it was Anaheim," Dvorak said. "It's nice to be back in the NHL. It was tough for me to leave after 17 years in the League, but that's how it is. That's life. But like I said, it's nice to be back with a team like Anaheim -- one of the best teams in the League. I'm very glad and I'm very happy." He's not expected to make his debut with the team Monday night.

Dvorak is 36 and is just expected to provide depth for the Ducks' top six and may not play a large fantasy impact this season. Dvorak played in the Swiss league so he needs to clear waivers to make the signing official.
