The Columbus Blue Jackets are soaring and veteran defenseman Adrian Aucoin says it's because the team's confidence level is sky-high.
"There's the right feeling going into every game, knowing you're going to win," said Aucoin, 39, who has played for seven NHL teams. "You're not going to win every one, but knowing that you can is powerful. It's not something you can buy or make. It just comes from within. I've played on bad teams and I've played on good teams, and we're back to that feeling where we're controlling our own destiny. It's like, if one guy has a bad shift - he knows it. It's a kind of accountability that maybe wasn't here in the past."
