Del Zotto potted the eventual game-winner against his former club in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Rangers.

Del Zotto has four points in his last five games, and his ice time has been steadily ticking up. The former first-round pick has a big upside if he can continue this solid play. He's still available in most leagues, and could make a solid pickup as the Flyers push for the playoffs.

Del Zotto contributed a power-play assist, five shots on goal, and three hits across 24:18 of ice time in Thursday's loss to the Maple Leafs.

Del Zotto's surge since about the midway point of the season has endeared him to both his fantasy owners and the Flyers, who are sure to kick the tires on an extension for the 24-year-old. With his ice time on the rise and his production starting to match his talent, Del Zotto should remain a valuable commodity the rest of the way.

Del Zotto extended his point streak to five games with an assist in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Jets.

For seemingly the first time in three seasons, Del Zotto is again flashing the puck-moving abilities that made him an intriguing dynasty-league commodity during his early years with the Rangers. Del Zotto's overall numbers look much more modest (15 points, minus-7 over 37 games), but since he's still relatively young (24 years old) and we've seen him score at high rates in the past, it's not a bad idea to go out and grab him with the hope that the recent uptick in production continues.

Del Zotto pushed his point streak to four games Tuesday, scoring a second-period goal in a shootout win over the Coyotes.

This little hot streak has been quite a boon for those patient enough (or in sufficiently deep leagues) to still be holding Del Zotto. For the rest of you, it may be worth looking into picking him up for the back end of your fantasy blue line.

Del Zotto extended his point streak to three games with an assist in Tuesday's win over the Penguins.

Del Zotto would also add four PIM and four hits to his ledger over 21:56 of action. A frequent healthy scratch for the Flyers throughout December, Del Zotto has since reemerged as a lineup regular and has been holding his own of late. Aside from Mark Streit, he might possess the most offensive potential of any of the Flyers' blueliners.

Del Zotto delivered two assists in a 4-3 win over Buffalo on Saturday night.

His fantasy value is sorely limited. He has just 12 points on the season and they come few and far between. He does lay hits and blocked shots, so perhaps he can help in formats that count those categories.

Del Zotto will rejoin the Philadelphia lineup for Wednesday's game against the Avalanche, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Del Zotto checks back in after serving as a healthy scratch for the previous nine contests. He'll probably need a strong performance Wednesday to justify a more permanent stay in the lineup.

Del Zotto will be a healthy scratch Thursday against the Devils, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

He'll be replaced in the lineup by Luke Schenn, who had sat out the previous two games as a healthy scratch. Del Zotto is one of the more intriguing Flyers blueliners because of his offensive abilities, but like many of his compatriots on defense, he's not especially strong in his own zone, which could result in the occasional deployment in the press box.

Del Zotto will be a healthy scratch Tuesday against the Sharks, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

The Flyers have been playing some brutal hockey of late, so it would seem coach Craig Berube is tinkering with his lineup in an attempt to awaken the team. Del Zotto isn't the only player underachieving during the team's four-game losing streak, but with no points and a minus-6 rating during that span, he certainly hasn't been pulling his weight.
