Daley went minus-4 over his 22:18 of ice time in Sunday's 6-2 loss to the Blackhawks.

Building off his successes from the playoffs last season, Daley was scorching during the season's first month, but has hit a wall thus far in November. The 31-year-old has one point and eight shots attempts in his last eight contests, going minus-6 during that time.

Daley picked up an even-strength assist and a power-play goal in Tuesday's overtime loss to the Blues.

After a couple quiet games in a row, Daley got back to his offensive ways Tuesday, and now that he's off to a big start with eight points in nine contests, and as long as he continues seeing heavy minutes and power-play time, that should remain the case.

Daley struck for two power-play goals in Saturday's overtime loss to the Flyers.

Daley, who only had one power-play goal in 67 games in 2013-14, has already scored a career-high three power-play goals in just five games this season. Daley is counted on to log heavy minutes at Dallas, but at 31 years of age, it's hard to see him suddenly breaking out for a massive offensive season. He's off to a great start, though, with five points in five games. If Daley continues to get power-play time with the likes of Tyler Seguin, Jamie Benn, and Jason Spezza, there is no reason he can't surpass the career-high 25 points he's recorded on three separate occasions in his career.

Daley scored a power-play goal in Thursday's shootout loss to the Blackhawks.

Daley was able to take advantage of a four-minute high-sticking penalty by the Blackhawks' Niklas Hjalmarsson, producing the first of two Dallas goals in the second period. The blueliner sizzled for the Stars in their first-round playoff exit last season and seems to be carrying a scorer's mentality into 2014-15 -- at least so far. With Stephane Robidas no longer in the fold, Daley should see ample ice time on the Stars' top pairing, which could net him the best production of his career.

Daley (hip) returned to preseason action Monday against the Panthers, collecting an assist in 25:18 of ice time.

Daley is back in the lineup again for Tuesday's exhibition as well, suggesting the hip injury is providing no complications for him. Look for him to serve on the Stars' top pairing this season, offering a more defensive-minded counterpart to the puck-moving Alex Goligoski.

Daley (hip) is progressing and should find his way into a preseason lineup soon, according to Mark Stepneski of the Stars' official site.

Daley's injury happened when he crashed into the boards during practice and is considered minor. It shouldn't linger or effect his draft ranking.

Daley was held out of Sunday's team scrimmage due to a sore hip, Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News reports.

Daley suffered the injury when he collided with the boards during Saturday's practice, but he isn't expected to miss much time as a result. The Stars could choose to keep Daley out of a few exhibitions just as a precaution, but it won't change his standing with the team with his role virtually assured for the start of the season. The 30-year-old is expected to join Alex Goligoski on the Stars' first defensive pairing, where he'll look to build on last season's career-high nine goals.

Trevor Daley doubled his postseason goal total in Sunday's 5-4 overtime loss to Anaheim.

He entered the contest with two goals and four points in 34 career playoff games. Daley recorded two markers and added an assist in Game 6 versus the Ducks for his most productive postseason appearance. Unfortunately, he probably won't remember the match fondly, as the Stars were eliminated after they blew a two-goal lead in the last 2:10 of regulation.

Trevor Daley scored two goals and had an assist but he and the Dallas Stars squandered a 4-2 lead late in the third period before falling 5-4 to the Anaheim Ducks in overtime and getting eliminated from the playoffs.

The Stars, on home ice, also built a 2-0 lead in this one and were only 15 seconds away from tying the best-of-seven series 3-3 when the Ducks tied the game 4-4 on a Devante Smith-Pelly goal with an extra attacker. Ryan Garbutt and Cody Eakin had the Stars' other goals.

Trevor Daley, the only Dallas Star to have played in the team's last playoff appearance in 2008, helped the Stars punch their ticket to the post-season with a goal and an assist in Dallas' 3-0 win over St. Louis on Friday night.

Daley scored the game winner in the second period, and notched his 25th point of the season with an assist later in the frame to give the Stars some insurance. Daley is the longest serving Star, playing for the green and white for the past 10 seasons.
