Jagr (illness) is listed on the Devils' first line for Saturday's game against the Capitals, Tom Gulitti of The Record reports.

Jagr's illness didn't keep him off the ice for Saturday's morning skate, and it looks like he'll suit up for the evening contest. The 42-year-old forward hasn't recorded a point in his last two games, but has 15 total on the season.

Jagr (illness) was on the nice for Saturday's morning skate, Tom Gulitti of the Bergen Record reports.

The 20-year veteran sat Thursday with a bout of the flu, his first absence all season, but Jagr noted Friday that he was "feeling better" and it sounds like he has a good chance to return Saturday against the Capitals. He's chipped in four goals and 11 assists in 25 games so far this season.

Jagr (illness) noted that he was "feeling better" Friday, Tom Gulitti of The Record reports.

Jagr sat out for the first time all season Thursday due to the flu. While it's encouraging that his condition is improving, Jagr's status for Saturday's game against the Capitals won't be known until after the team conducts its morning skate.

Jagr will not play Thursday due to an illness, Rich Chere of The Star-Ledger reports.

Jar left New Jersey's last game Tuesday with a head injury, but GM Lou Lamoriello said that he will sit Thursday due to the illness, and not due to any concussion symptoms. Assuming that is the case, it seems Jagr will have a decent chance to return for the Devils' next game Saturday.

Jagr left Tuesday's game against the Penguins in the second period with an apparent head injury and will not return, Tom Gulitti of the Bergen Record reports.

Jagr was one of three Devils forwards (Patrik Elias, Stephen Gionta) to leave the game with an injury, with his looking like the most serious of the three. The injury occurred when he was struck in the head and into the end boards by the Penguins' Robert Bortuzzo, who could face a suspension for the hit. Jagr had previously dealt with a nasty cold in the morning, so the injury only further complicates matters. Consider him questionable for Thursday's game against the Maple Leafs until the team updates his condition.

Jagr now has 15 points in 23 games this season, to go with an even plus-minus rating. At 42 years of age, Jagr still remains a valuable fantasy option, as he is on track to reach the 50-point plateau for the 20th time in his career.

Jagr picked up a pair of assists -- one a power-play empty-netter -- in Tuesday's win over the Devils.

Hey, cheap power-play points are still power-play points. With three goals and nine assists in 12 games, Jagr's a smidge off last year's pace, but he's been warming up lately, having notched four points in his last four contests.

Jagr aided the Devils to an overtime victory over the Senators on Saturday, notching his second marker of the season with 1:21 remaining in the extra period.

It was the NHL-record 125th game-winning goal for Jagr, who continues to defy expectations at age 42. He's contributed six points in eight games and figures to finish among the Devils' scoring leaders again in 2014-15.
