Redmond picked up two assists in Monday's win over the Coyotes.Redmond has been a fixture in the Avs' lineup since Erik Johnson required a knee scope in late January, but he has yet to do much with the opportunity. Despite seeing power-play time and putting up 21 shots over his last 10 games, Redmond has no goals and three assists to show for it. His per-game offensive production (four goals, nine assists, 60 SOG in 35 games) gives Redmond some upside, but he'll probably need to go on a prolonged scoring streak before those outside of deeper formats take notice.

Redmond recorded an assist and five shots on goal in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Predators.

Redmond had been a healthy scratch for most of January, but with Erik Johnson set to miss the next 3-to-8 weeks with a knee injury, a regular lineup spot awaits for the blueliner. With four goals, 11 points and 44 shot attempts in the 27 games he's played this season, Redmond presents more upside than most of the league's depth defensemen. The promise of a regular role for the next several games makes him worthy of a speculative roster addition in deeper formats.

Redmond will be a healthy scratch for Wednesday's game against the Flyers.

Nick Holden will move back into the lineup while Redmond takes a seat in the press box. Redmond has shown flashes of offensive upside with four goals and 10 points in 25 games, but he's made difficulty picking up anything more than third-pairing minutes.

Redmond tallied his fourth goal of the season in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Blues.

Though he didn't enter the season with a regular role on the Avs' blue line, Redmond has proven to be a suitable replacement for both Brad Stuart and now Ryan Wilson. With 10 points and a plus-5 rating over 23 games, Redmond offers more offensive upside than the typical third-pairing defenseman, making him legitimately interesting in deeper formats.

Redmond scored twice, had four shots on goal, and was a plus-3 in Saturday's win over Carolina.

The 26-year-old logged an impressive 19:44 of ice time in the win, picking up his fifth and sixth points of of the season. The fact Redmond is skating on the first power-play unit and has scored three goals in just 10 games, makes him worth a look in some deeper leagues. He's only played 28 NHL games, but he's produced 13 points in that span.

Redmond registered an assist in Thursday's shootout win over the Rangers.

Redmond has assumed a regular role on the Avs' blue line since Brad Stuart sustained a leg injury last week, and has been rather productive on the offensive end, tallying a goal and two assists over his last four games. Unfortunately, he's gone a collective minus-4 over his last two turns, which could remain an issue if the Avs' early-season struggles continue in the games to come.

Redmond will return to the ice on Thursday night against the Maple Leafs to replace the injured Brad Stuart, the Denver Post reports.

Redmond has been scratched the past four games and he has only played in three games this season. Avs coach Patrick Roy said Stuart could miss "weeks", so Redmond should see increased playing time until Stuart returns.

With Ryan Wilson (shoulder) set to miss the next two-to-three weeks, Redmond will see more time on the Avs' third defensive pairing, Adrian Dater of the Denver Post reports.

Redmond has been a healthy scratch for all of the Avs' games this season, after he was brought in by Colorado on a two-year, $1.5 million contract in the offseason. The 26-year-old has showed some offensive ability in the minors with AHL St. John's last season, but he could struggle to offer much production while seeing only light minutes on the occasions he plays.

Redmond will be a roster scratch for Thursday night's opener against the Minnesota Wild.

Redmond's presence on the Avs roster is a bit surprising, but he has the potential to develop into a solid defenseman with a bit of seasoning. Redmond could be considered a very deep roster stash in dynasty leagues, but we would stay away from him for now.

The Colorado Avalanche have signed defenseman Zach Redmond to a two-year/$1.5 million deal.

Redmond did a great job of bouncing back this season after suffering a severe cut to his leg by a skate during a practice with the Jets. He is a bubble player on the Avs as he fights to be the seventh defenseman.
