Erik Christensen is tied for the goal scoring lead in the KHL.
It's true! The Wild pivot has bulged the twine seven times in 12 games for Lev SKA and is tied with former NHLer Alexander Korolyuk. Now if he can just take that scoring touch to Minnesota. Well that's a bit hopeful don't you think?

Erik Christensen isn't likely to be back in Minnesota next season.
Christensen was dealt from the New York Rangers to the Wild in early February. But just like every team he's been with, he's been extremely inconsistent. He started off his time with the Wild with no points and a minus-13 rating in his first 15 games, then had six goals in 10 games with the Wild out of the playoffs. "When we're looking at guys that we want wearing a Minnesota Wild jersey, there's certain elements and there's certain characteristics," Yeo said. "I think one of them has to be a gamer -- a big-game player. You want guys that want to be on the ice when the game's on the line, you want guys that perform at the best when games are most meaningful."

Erik Christensen had the game-tying goal and an assist as the Minnesota Wild snuck past the Los Angeles Kings 4-3 in a shootout Saturday night.
It was the center's second consecutive game with a goal, but he still only has seven on the year. He's always shown glimpses on offense, but his consistency and compete level away on defense have also always been lacking, curbing the amount of games he's played. Darroll Powe (sixth) and Nick Johnson (eighth) potted the other goals. Justin Falk and Jason Zucker eached had two helpers.

Erik Christensen scored a pair of goals in a 4-3 loss to Calgary Sunday.
In his 16th game with the Wild, Christensen finally notched his first two points. With a minus-11 rating during that span, it should go without saying he has no fantasy value. Devin Setoguchi also scored in the loss for Minnesota.
