Lindback is expected to start one of the Stars' upcoming games in Western Canada -- likely Wednesday against Vancouver or Friday against Calgary -- according to the Dallas Morning News.

After an 0-5-0 start to the season, Lindback was sent to the AHL to regain his confidence. As long as Kari Lehtonen remains healthy, Lindback figures to see very limited opportunities in Dallas.

Lindback was recalled from AHL Texas on Sunday, Mark Stepneski of the Stars' official site reports.

Lindback has had a rough time with the Stars this season, posting a 4.63 GAA and .861 save percentage while losing all five tilts. He will receive another chance to back up Kari Lehtonen, however, as the team assigned Jussi Rynnas to AHL Texas.

Lindback cleared waivers Thursday and has reported to AHL Texas,'s Mark Stepneski reports.

Unsurprisingly, Lindback didn't get scooped up by an NHL club after posting an abysmal 4.63 GAA and .861 save percentage over five starts with the Stars. With Dallas deciding to cast their lot with Jussi Rynnas as their backup to Kari Lehtonen, Lindback will serve as organizational goalie depth.

Lindback was waived by the Stars on Wednesday,'s Mark Stepneski reports.

Starting goalie Kari Lehtonen hasn't been great this season, but Lindback was demonstrably worse whenever coach Lindy Ruff called his number. Lindback lost all five of his starts and contributed a 4.63 GAA and .861 save percentage, numbers that led the Stars to determine they had seen enough. Jussi Rynnas was recalled from AHL Texas to take over as the Stars' backup netminder.

Lindback stopped 42 of 47 shots in the Stars' 5-2 loss to the Avalanche on Saturday.

Lindback stood his ground until the third period when the Avs scored two power play goals in 3:45 to begin the period. The Stars were undisciplined all night, giving the Avs eight power play chances. Lindback wasn't spectacular but held the fort as long as he could. The 6-foot-6 Swedish netminder has struggled all season and is still searching for his first win. He's considered one of the league's weaker backups at the moment.

Lindback will start Saturday against the Avalanche, Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News reports.

Lindback has really struggled this season, but he will get the nod Saturday to give regular goaltender Kari Lehtonen a night off. Lindback will face off against a Colorado team that has won four of six entering Saturday's game.

Lindback gave up four goals on 28 shots in Saturday's loss to the Sharks.

Lindback has been awful this season, posting a 0-3-0 record, to go with a 4.41 GAA. With the way he has played, the Stars aren't likely to start Linback ahead of Kari Lehtonen very often. Even when he does get the start, Lindback has done nothing to show he can be reliable in fantasy this season.

Lindback will start in net Saturday against the Sharks, Mark Stepneski of the team's official site reports.

Lindback is 0-2-0 on the season, and has given up nine total goals over his two starts. His .850 save percentage will need to improve if he wants to steal more starts away from starter Kari Lehtonen.

Lindback was the first goalie off the ice at morning skate and appears set to make the start Saturday against the Sharks,'s Mark Stepneski reports.

It will be Lindback's third appearance of the season and his first since Oct. 25, as Kari Lehtonen receives the evening off. He doesn't make for a particularly appealing fantasy option against a high-quality Sharks offense.

Lindback was beaten for six goals on 28 shot attempts in Saturday's 7-5 loss to the Islanders.

The Stars only turned to Lindback to give Kari Lehtonen a rest for the second game of a back-to-back, and the backup's performance Saturday showed exactly why he'll see infrequent use this season. With a career 2.79 GAA and .903 save percentage, Lindback is probably one of the weaker No. 2 goalie options in the league and is liable for these types of implosions any time he faces a quality offense.
