Carter netted his ninth goal of the season in Saturday's win over the Coyotes.

The Kings' top trio of Carter, Anze Kopitar and Marian Gaborik has absolutely caught fire the past three games, much to the delight of their respective fantasy owners. During that span, Carter has amassed six points and 15 shots on goal, allowing the forward to compensate for his utter lack of production over the previous month. His latest hot streak won't last forever, but he's worth keeping in fantasy lineups while the top line remains firing on all cylinders.

Carter potted his eighth goal and handed out three assists -- two of them on the power play -- in Thursday's 6-4 comeback win over the Blues.

Carter had been stone-cold of late, as Thursday's four points are one more than he'd managed in his last 13 games, and the goal was his first in exactly a month, dating back to Nov. 18 -- also the date of his last multi-point contest. Carter still has a decent stat line for the season, but his rampant inconsistency certainly detracts from his fantasy prospects.

Carter collected an assist, attempted three shots and won 10-of-14 faceoffs in Thursday's victory over the Senators.

Though he turned in a sound performance Wednesday, Carter's been ice cold offensively since a two-point outburst against the Panthers back on Nov. 18. Over his last 10 games, he's notched no goals and just two assists. A hot start to the season still has him roughly on pace to hit the 50-point mark, but his recent trends haven't been encouraging.

Carter, who picked up a goal and an assist Tuesday, has five points (two goals, three assists) in his last five games.

Carter had been held off the score sheet in the six games leading up to his recent outburst after starting the season with five goals in his first eight games. He now has 17 points (seven goals, ten assists) for the season.

Carter snapped a six-game pointless streak with a goal and an assist in Saturday's 5-1 win over Vancouver.

Carter and his linemates Tyler Toffoli and Tanner Pearson had cooled off a bit of late but were back to their old tricks Saturday. Carter now has six goals and eight assists on the season.

Carter tallied four points, a goal and three assists, in Sunday's 5-2 victory over Columbus.

The Carter-Tyler Toffoli-Tanner Pearson line continued to be almost unstoppable, with his linemates adding four and two points respectively. At this rate, all three are top fantasy options and Carter figures to continue producing at a high rate offensively.

Carter scored a power-play goal and assisted on Anze Kopitar's power-play tally in Thursday's 2-0 win over the Kings.

As the game's opening goal, Carter's marker stood up as his first game-winner of the year. Despite Carter starting the year hot with six points in six games, these actually represent his first power-play points of the season.

Carter scored his second goal of the season in a 4-1 win against Winnipeg.

Carter also added an assist on Tyler Toffoli's first goal of the year, before scoring himself for the Kings' fourth and final goal of the night. He and his linemates, Toffoli and Tanner Pearson, each scored Sunday, as Carter is off to a strong start in his 2014-15 campaign.

Carter recorded a hat trick in the Kings' 4-2 win over the Ducks on Sunday.

Carter really clicked with linemates Tanner Pearson and Tyler Toffoli last year and the trio were on display again Sunday night. Look for another big year out of Carter given his linemates and spot on the team's top power play unit.

Jeff Carter played a spectacular game on Wednesday night, winning 70% of his faceoffs and generating numerous scoring chances in the Kings' 2-1 loss to New York.

Carter and the Kings dominated the third period in pursuit of the equalizer, outshooting New York 15-1. Carter and his linemates Tyler Toffoli and Tanner Pearson were the best line on the ice by far, but the trio were unable to beat Henrik Lundqvist. L.A. will try to win on home ice in Game 5 on Friday night.
