Jeff Carter (foot) felt good in his return on Monday.
Carter was out for 10 straight games due to the injury. "It's obviously.going to be tender, and my legs are going to be burning and whatnot, but it was pretty much what I expected," Carter said of his return. He had an assist and logged 15:48 minutes of ice time.

The Los Angeles Kings are expected to activate Jeff Carter (foot) before Monday night's game versus Vancouver.
"If he gets through warmup, we'll make a decision," coach Darryl Sutter said about Carter's status. Jonathan Quick may be moved to the Kings' injured reserve list to make room for Carter. It looks like it's safe to get Carter back in your lineup.

Jeff Carter (foot) was able to participate in Friday's practice.
Carter has even been cleared for contact drills at this point, but he pointed out that it wasn't an intensive practice. "It's just another step, getting on the ice with them," Carter added. He's not likely to return on Saturday and otherwise remains day-to-day.

Jeff Carter (foot) is scheduled to see a doctor on Thursday.
He has been on injured reserve for two weeks with a foot injury. The Kings are trying to determine whether he has a new fracture or a re-injury of a previous fracture. After his doctor visit the club is expected to have a better idea of his timetable.

Jeff Carter (foot) was not at practice Sunday.
Carter was seen earlier in the week in a walking boot so it appears that he will not be able to be in the lineup Tuesday when the Kings are in Buffalo. He has five goals and nine points in 14 games this season. Keep him reserved.
