Scrivens will be in the crease for Tuesday's game against the Kings, Jason Gregor of OilersNation.com reports.

Scrivens will be sure to rise to the occasion for a game against his former team, but it's doubtful that his team will do much to help him out. An already porous Oilers squad became a little more suspect Monday by trading away Jeff Petry, leaving the team quite depleted in front of Scrivens. Of course, his offense hasn't been doing much of late either for Scrivens, who has given up two or fewer goals in three consecutive games but only has one win to show for it.

Scrivens gave up two goals on 27 shots in Saturday's loss to the Blues.

While has Scrivens has suffered three losses in his past four outings, he's allowed two goals or less in three straight games. He doesn't win much with Edmonton, but his rate stats are rising and he plays almost every game.

Scrivens will be in the cage for Saturday's game against the Blues, Jack Michaels of the Oilers Radio Network reports.

Scrivens is firmly entrenched as the Oilers' No. 1 goalie while Viktor Fasth (knee) remains out indefinitely, but he's still very clearly a low-end goalie option, despite wins in four his last seven starts. Playing behind an improving, but still substandard Oilers defense, Scrivens' ratios are susceptible to take big hits on a given night, particularly against top-flight offenses like the Blues'.

Scrivens delivered 33 saves on 34 shots to take home a 2-1 victory over Minnesota on Tuesday.

The pundits certainly didn't see this one coming, with the miserable Oilers winning only their 18th game of the season against a Minnesota team that came in red-hot. For what it's worth, Scrivens has won three of his last five starts, delivering four save marks over .900 in that span.

Scrivens will be in the crease for Tuesday's game against the Wild.

Scrivens will make his fourth consecutive start, based less on him warranting further duties than the Oilers' lack of any appealing alternatives. The netminder kept the Oilers competitive in two of those three outings, but his overall ratios on the season (2.99 GAA, .895 save percentage) continue to make it difficult for fantasy owners to extract much value. Scrivens won't be much more than a low-end option in daily or season-long formats the rest of the way.

Scrivens allowed four goals on 29 shots in a 4-0 shutout loss to the visiting Wild. The offense mustered just 15 shots in front of him, but at this point, excuses aren't really necessary for one of the worst teams in the league. Scrivens' .895 save percentage and 3.01 GAA make him one 'tender to avoid in all formats, as there isn't really a single spot-start opponent we could recommend given the Oilers' mediocrity.

Scrivens turned in a gem of a performance Wednesday, stopping 38 of 41 shots before beating the visiting Bruins 4-3 in a shootout.Scrivens looked good after missing just over a week with a hamstring issue, effectively denying the Bruins of the coveted extra point that would have helped them distance themselves in the Eastern Conference playoff race. Scrivens certainly has had a season to forget (11 wins in 39 appearances with a dreadful .896 save percentage and 2.98 GAA) but with nothing to lose and the Oilers taking on the role of spoiler down the stretch, he could be an interesting play in certain matchups. As long as your other options in net are limited, of course.

Scrivens (hamstring) will return to the net for Wednesday's game against the Bruins, Jack Michaels of the Oilers Radio Network reports. The netminder missed just over a week of action with the hamstring issue. Prior to his injury, Scrivens had been locked in a tight battle with Viktor Fasth for the Oilers' No. 1 goalie duties, but the net should belong exclusively to Scrivens for the foreseeable future after Fasth was ruled out indefinitely with a knee ailment. Despite the increased job security, Scrivens won't notice much of an uptick in fantasy leagues, as he's been virtually unplayable this season due to his ugly ratios. With the Oilers selling off any spare parts they can as the trade deadline approaches, Scrivens' team context will probably only get worse from here.

Scrivens (hamstring) was activated from IR on Wednesday. The Oilers will swap out one goalie for another on the 23-man roster, as Viktor Fasth, who hurt his knee in Monday's shootout loss to the Jets, was moved to IR to accommodate Scrivens' return. The Oilers haven't explicitly stated that Scrivens is fully healthy, but his activation would seem to signal that he's on track to get the nod in goal for Wednesday's tilt with the Bruins.
