Scrivens gave up three goals on only 19 shots in Thursday's loss to the Lightning.

The Edmonton defense did a surprisingly good job stifling the Tampa attack, but Scrivens -- leading 2-1 at the second intermission -- allowed a pair of third-period goals to Ondrej Palat to flip the script. He's dropped three straight, allowing 11 goals in that span, so Scrivens remains among the worst fantasy netminders.

Scrivens is slated to start Thursday's game against the Lightning, Jack Michaels of the Oilers Radio Network reports.

After winning two straight games earlier this month, Scrivens has dropped his last two decisions, allowing four goals in each of those turns, which has lifted his GAA to 3.05.

Scrivens was tagged for four goals on 29 shots in Tuesday's loss to St. Louis.

That marks consecutive 4-2 losses for Scrivens, who made just 23 saves in Sunday's loss to Florida. It's just hard to trust any goalie on any given night for the godawful Oilers, and Scrivens hasn't made things any easier with his blowup-prone ways.

Scrivens is lined up to start Tuesday's game against the Blues, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.

Scrivens was the first goaltender off the ice following the Oilers' morning skate, which puts him on track to start Tuesday night. He will face a stiff test Tuesday from a Blues team that tallied a whopping 24 goals over its last four games.

Scrivens allowed four goals on 27 shots in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Panthers.

Scrivens had been seemingly turning a corner lately with a string of good performances and back-to-back wins over the Islanders and Blackhawks coming in, but he took a step back on Sunday. Given the 28-year-old's shaky numbers (3.01 GAA and .897 save percentage), his recent success may have just been more of an aberration.

Scrivens will start in net against the Panthers on Sunday, Reid Wilkins of 630 CHED reports.

Scrivens will be looking for his ninth win of the season Sunday. He'll enter the game with a lowly .898 save percentage coupled with a 2.98 GAA.

Scrivens turned aside 19 of 21 shots in a 5-2 win over the visiting Blackhawks on Friday.

What do the Blackhawks, Kings and Islanders have in common? They've all been beaten by Scrivens and the lowly Oilers in the last two weeks, indicating an improvement in play by Alberta's most northern team. Sure, he lost to Colorado and Calgary in between, but he's definitely been better of late, giving up two or less goals in six of his last seven starts. It's not enough for us to send you scrambling to the wire to snatch him up, but Scrivens' play has definitely improved and is worth monitoring if you're in need of help between the pipes and your league is conducive to spot starts.

Scrivens will be in the crease for Friday's game against the Blackhawks, Jack Michaels of the Oilers Radio Network reports.

Rested Tuesday in favor of backup Viktor Fasth, Scrivens will return to the net for the 10th time in 12 games. He's helped keep the Oilers more competitive of late with save percentages above .930 in four of his last five turns, picking up two wins in the process. Considering how miserable Edmonton had been prior to that, it's enough to give Scrivens ample security in the starting role.

Updating a previous report, Scrivens will in fact not start Tuesday's game against the Red Wings, Oilers announcer Jack Michaels reports.

Michaels reported during Tuesday's morning skate that Scrivens would start Tuesday night, but it appears that was incorrect, or the Oilers changed course. Either way, Viktor Fasth will start Tuesday, and Scrivens will serve as his backup.

Scrivens will be in goal for Tuesday's game against the Red Wings, Oilers announcer Jack Michaels reports.

Scrivens has struggled this season, but he has played well of late, giving up two goals or fewer in four of his last five starts. He will take on a Detroit team that has won just three of its last 11 games entering Tuesday's contest.
