Michael Cammalleri underwent some dental work on Sunday.

Cammalleri was injured during the lockout when Steve Stamkos took a shot that knocked out his front teeth. Cammalleri has one year remaining on his contract with a cap hit of $5.968 million while receiving $7 million so he could be dealt or bought out in the off-season, if the Flames are looking to pare salary.

Michael Cammalleri scored a goal and added an assist in Calgary's 4-1 win over the Wild on Sunday.

With 32 points in 42 contests Cammalleri has quietly enjoyed a productive season despite the overall struggles experienced by the team surrounding him. Mikael Backlund, Mark Cundari and Jiri Hudler also found the back of the net for the Flames in the victory.

Michael Cammalleri is going all out to win despite Calgary fans wanting the first overall pick in the upcoming 2013 Draft.

The Flames are battling the Panthers and Colorado for last place overall in the NHL and had a chance to fall to the basement Monday with a loss to the Avs, but they pulled out a 3-1 win to jump into a tie with Florida for 28th overall, three points ahead of Colorado. "You're not going to go out there and shoot on your own goalie," Michael Cammalleri said. "You're going to go out there and play as hard as you can, and you're going to try and win the game. That's our job."

The Calgary Flames will have to adjust to life after the Jarome Iginla trade.

"He's been such a presence on this team, for this city, this organization, for so long," Michael Cammalleri said. "He's such a dominant player. A guy who is in the lineup all the time, not missing any games. It will be different, for sure, without him." With Iginla gone, the Flames will be relying more on Cammalleri. With Iginla a healthy scratch pre-trade, Cammalleri had two goals in Calgary's 4-3 victory over the Colorado Avalanche.

With Jarome Iginla (probably) traded, Michael Cammalleri might be the Calgary Flames biggest go-to guy.

He added to that argument on Wednesday, scoring two goals (including the game-winner) to guide the Calgary Flames to a 4-3 win against the Colorado Avalanche. Overall, he has 11 tallies and 13 assists for 24 points in 29 games. Of course, there's always the chance he might get traded, too.
