Boston Bruins reassign Jordan Caron to AHL Providence.

With Brad Marchand and Patrice Bergeron on their way back into the lineup, there was no room for Caron at the NHL level. He's not worthy fantasy consideration this season.

Jordan Caron scored his first goal of the season Monday night.

He was a healthy scratch for the past two games and has three points in 14 matches with Boston this year. Caron isn't worthy of fantasy consideration at this time.

Caron has been a healthy scratch the last two games. He has just two assists in 13 games.

Jordan Caron contributed an assist on a goal by Chris Kelly in his season debut Saturday against Philadelphia.

The Bruins' third line, which has mostly featured Kelly and Rich Peverley, has had issues defensively and offensively this season, but Caron's presence appeared to stabilize it better. "I thought he had a real good game today, and so did they," coach Claude Julien said of Caron and his linemates after the contest. "Let's not overlook the fact that Caron didn't make that line all of a sudden be better. All three guys were really good today. I thought Pevs was skating well and was good. He was strong with the puck. So was Kells. That whole line was better today as a threesome." Caron played 13:45 and he added two penalty minutes, a hit and blocked shots.

Newly-proomoted Jordan Caron practised on the Bruins' third line Friday.

There is a good chance he will be in the Boston lineup Saturday afternoon against the Flyers playing alongside some combination of Rich Peverley, Chris Kelly and Jay Pandolfo. Although Caron may have some promise, we do not expect him to make much of a fantasy impact this season.
