Alex Burrows feels that former Canucks coach Alain Vigneault was more rationale while their current bench boss, John Tortorella, relies on gut feelings.

"For the most part, Alain let us decide how we wanted to play as a team," Burrows said. "It was one of those nights where the puck was finding me around the net," said a relieved Burrows. "I had a lot of chances. Honestly, I think I could have had four. The reaction from the guys after the first one was funny. I know they've been pulling for me for a long time and they want the best for me and it was nice to see them react that way. These were the struggling winger's first goals in 41 games, and just his seventh and eighth points through 36 games this season. Burrows even came close to completing the hat trick in overtime, nonetheless the Canucks eventually won the game on a Chris Higgins shootout goal.
