Despite speculation that Burns might be best used back at forward, as he was last year, the team says there's "zero percent" chance of him moving to forward, according to Kevin Kurz of CSN Bay Area.

Burns is far from being unproductive and is a great roster grab on defense, but he's not quite at the amazing pace he was on last season. The change of his availability from forward to defense makes him valuable no matter what in almost all formats.

The offensive contributions were a total team effort, as Burns was one of eight Sharks skaters to finish with multi-point games. The two-helper performance ended a three-game scoring drought for Burns, who continues to adapt well to the move back to the blue line. He ranks in a three-way tie for second place in defenseman scoring with 21 points.

It's a good thing that leagues don't count giveaways, though, as his five cough-ups were a game-high.
