Vladimir Zharkov has decided to play for CSKA Moscow in the KHL next season.

He has reportedly agreed to a two-year contract with the KHL club. The Devils will retain his NHL rights after giving him a qualifying offer last week. Zharkov played in only four games with the Devils last season, so his loss won't be a blow to the organization or your fantasy lineup.

Vladimir Zharkov may play next season in Russia, but the Devils have retained his rights either way by tendering him a qualifying offer.

New Jersey GM Lou Lamoriello said that Zharkov has not made a final decision yet. He skated in just four NHL games in 2011-12 and appeared in 62 contests with the AHL's Albany Devils. He notched 16 goals and 39 points in the minors.
