Henrik Zetterberg LW DET 1 Day

Zetterberg (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Saturday.

Zetterberg, who missed his third straight game with the upper-body injury Saturday, will be eligible to return for the Red Wings' next match Wednesday versus the Rangers. While the team hasn't announced that Zetterberg has concussion, the forward noted that he's experiencing symptoms similar to the head injury, which could threaten his availability for Wednesday's game. Coach Mike Babcock expressed optimism earlier in the week that Zetterberg will be ready to go by that point, but he'll need to get back on the ice in the next couple of days in order to give his coach's words some legitimacy.
