Zetterberg was the only Red Wing to light the lamp Tuesday in a 3-1 loss to Ottawa.

Zetterberg has 15 points in 12 games, and has proven to be one of the more reliable fantasy producers out there.

Zetterberg dished out a pair of assists in Friday's win over Columbus.

That's seven points in three games for Zetterberg, who has recorded 14 points in 10 games on the season. When he is healthy, Zetterberg is dominant and one of the best in the game. He if he manages to play a full season, expect a 70-80 point campaign from the 34-year-old stud.

Zetterberg picked up two assists in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Capitals.

The veteran winger continued his hot start Wednesday, collecting two more points, which moved his season total to 12 through nine games. With Zetterberg and Pavel Datsyuk both rolling, the Red Wings are proving to once again be a team full of seemingly ageless offensive juggernauts.

After a quiet first 57 minutes, Zetterberg went to work on the Penguins late in the third period Thursday with the Wings trailing 3-1, scoring a goal to spark the comeback and then assisting on the game-tying tally and overtime winner.

Game-changing skill is exactly what we expect out of Zetterberg, and he's been showing that off lately. Over his current four-game point streak, Zetterberg has racked up three goals and six assists. If he can stay healthy, he'll be one of the most productive skaters in the league.

Zetterberg scored the game's only goal in overtime to lift the Wings to victory over the Leafs on Saturday night.

It's actually his first goal of the season. He loves playing the Leafs and has been the difference maker in back-go-back wins over them the last two days. But at 34, his best days are probably behind him. Don't get us wrong -- he's a great play when healthy. But there are more and more risks associated with his game. Dynasty owners need to weigh their options while they still can and this two-game, five-point outburst will really help showcase his value.

Zetterberg was magnificent in the win, also recording a plus-3 rating and a game-high five shots on goal. With five points through four games, Zetterberg is well on his way to another point-per-game season in Motor City.

Coach Mike Babcock relayed that Zetterberg (foot) said he was "feeling the best he has in years" this offseason, suggesting he'll be a full participant in training camp, NHL.com's Dan Rosen reports.

With both Zetterberg and Pavel Datsyuk missing 37 games apiece last season, the Red Wings were forced to get by with a patchwork forward ranks to so-so results. Now that both players are feeling healthy, the depth chart should enjoy more stability in 2014-15, but don't be surprised if Zetterberg notices a drop in ice time for maintenance purposes as he enters his age-34 season. Still, Zetterberg hasn't had many health issues prior to last season, and managed to supply 48 points over the 45 contests in which he suited up. There's plenty of value to be had in Zetterberg, even as he takes on a more deferential role to emerging wings Gustav Nyquist and Tomas Tatar in the years to come.

Detroit Red Wings general manager Ken Holland says he has received positive health reports on several of his previously injured players, including star forward Henrik Zetterberg.

"The biggest thing is health," Holland said. "If we can get to training camp (Sept. 19) and get (Zetterberg and others) on the ice, we're optimistic we [have] the potential to be a decent hockey club." Zetterberg missed 37 regular-season games last season. He had in-season surgery on a herniated disk that later caused problems with his foot. The Wings' other star, Pavel Datsyuk, also missed 37 games with a left-knee injury and offseason surgery was considered. But Holland says Datsyuk also is progressing well.
