Bozak scored the game-winning goal on the power play in Tuesday's win over Buffalo. He also added an even-strength assist.

He has been outstanding this season. He has put up points in seven of the Leafs' nine games and has 10 points, including four goals, overall. He sure doesn't know he's not supposed to be a number one center. Roll him.

Bozak extended his point streak to four games and six points with two assists in Tuesday's overtime win over Colorado. He has three goals and three assists in that span.

He's been money in the bank so far this season -- use him well.

Bozak scored his third goal in as many games when he scored a goal in Sunday's win over the Rangers. He also picked up an assist.

So, that makes his goal streak three games and he has four points in those same games. This won't last, but it sure is a nice start to the fantasy season for those of you who took the plunge.

Bozak recorded his second goal in as many games in Saturday's loss to the Penguins.

Both of Bozak's scores have come on the power-play, with blueliner Stuart Percy assisting on Saturday's tally. Bozak's productive start probably doesn't foreshadow an emergence as one of the game's top snipers, but by merely avoiding any long-term absences, it's likely that the 28-year-old will surpass last season's total of 19 goals.

Bozak (lower body) practiced with the team Monday, Mark Masters of TSN reports.

Bozak has been limited all preseason with the injury, but head coach Randy Carlisle said he expects the center to be ready for the season opener October 8. While his presence on the ice is certainly encouraging, the situation is still worth monitoring.

Bozak will sit out Friday's preseason finale against the Red Wings with a lower-body injury, Jonas Siegel of TSN Radio 1050 reports.

The lower-body issue has been bothering Bozak since the first day of camp, but coach Randy Carlyle said he expects the center to be almost fully healthy for the Oct. 8 opener. Bozak has played well in his limited preseason action despite the nagging injury, indicating that it's probably nothing to be too concerned about.

Bozak (lower body) made his preseason debut Friday and immediately made an impact on the scoresheet. He picked up three points -- one goal and two assists -- in a 6:06 span of the first period.

He also won 17 of 23 faceoffs (74 percent) in 18:23. That injury sure looks like it's a thing of the past.

Bozak (lower body) expects to play in Friday's preseason contest against Buffalo, Paul Hendrick of Leafs TV reports.

Bozak has missed the Leafs' first two exhibitions after suffering the lower-body injury over the weekend, but after reporting improvement at Wednesday's practice, he no longer appears at risk of missing much further action. Bozak doesn't fit the prototype most teams look for in their No. 1 centers, but with the highly-adept scoring duo of Phil Kessel and James van Riemsdyk flanking him on either side, he doesn't necessarily need to. Health issues proved problematic last season, but if Bozak can avoid the injury bug this time around, a 55- or 60-point campaign isn't out of the question.

Bozak (lower body) participated in Monday's morning skate, Jonas Siegel of TSN 1050 reports.

Bozak was injured during pre-season workouts, and will sit out Monday's game as a precaution. The fact that he's back on the ice, though, is a good sign that he shouldn't miss any regular season time.

Bozak is dealing with a lower-body injury, Terry Koshan of the Toronto Sun reports.

Bozak reportedly skated in full equipment before the Leafs' practice Saturday, but didn't participate with the team. He and David Clarkson both suffered the injuries in pre-camp workouts, but both are believed to be minor injuries.
