Tyler Bozak looks like he'll return to Toronto's lineup Monday night from a hamstring injury.
He has missed the last 12 games because of the ailment. Bozak wanted to play Saturday but he was held out by team doctors. He skated between Phil Kessel and James van Riemsdyk during Monday morning's practice. His return looks like it will bump Peter Holland to the press box.

Tyler Bozak will apparently need a little more time to fully recover from a hamstring injury and as a result won't play Saturday night against Washington.

"It's something that's probably going to nag for a little bit so I want to make sure I get most of it healed up," Bozak explained. After missing 11 straight games, he's hoping to return on Saturday, but nothing is set in stone yet.

Bozak missed his 11th consecutive game on Thursday, but is optimistic about his chances of returning on Saturday. He has three goals and six points in 11 games this season.

He is hopeful that he'll be ready for Thursday night's game versus Nashville when he's eligible to come off injured reserve. If he isn't ready by then, Saturday's contest versus Washington is a possibility as well. "I'll just take it day by day," Bozak said. "It felt good today. Things are getting better. Without a setback, I hope to be out there by the end of the week." He has been out of action since Oct. 25 because of a hamstring injury.

He resumed skating last week and is making progress toward returning to the lineup. Bozak isn't eligible to be taken off injured reserve until Nov. 21, but it's unclear if he'll be ready to play later this week. According to one report over the weekend, he may be sidelined for another 10 days.

The latest word on Tyler Bozak's recovery from a hamstring injury is that despite the fact that he was on the ice for Saturday morning's optional skate, he will be out of action at least another 10 days.
That will mean that the Buds' top center will not be back in the lineup until close to the end of November. Just thought you'd like to know.
