Bozak managed just one shot attempt and took a minus-4 rating in Monday's loss to the Hurricanes.

What was shaping up to be a career-best campaign for Bozak has taken a turn for the worse in January. Aside from a two-point outing Jan. 9 against Columbus, Bozak has been a void offensively in the Leafs' other eight games during the month. In those contests, he's mustered only nine shot attempts while compiling a minus-13 rating. Bozak's ongoing struggles will result in coach Pete Horachek dropping him from the top line for at least Wednesday's game against the Ottawa, according to TSN's Jonas Siegel.

Bozak ended a season-high four-game point drought Friday, scoring his 14th goal of the season and adding an assist in a lopsided victory over the Blue Jackets.

Bozak now has 32 points in 42 games this season, putting him on track for the best offensive season of his NHL career. Centering Toronto's top line alongside Phil Kessel, Bozak is a great fantasy option in almost all leagues. He has 93 shots on goal and a career-high seven power-play goals this season -- 11th most in the NHL. Use him well.
