Coach Randy Carlyle said that Bozak will be out for "an extended period of time" because of the ailment. Injuries have held the Toronto center back this season. When he's been healthy, he has been productive with 11 points in 16 games.

Tyler Bozak tried to return from his upper-body injury Tuesday night, but he wasn't able to play through it.
He exited the game early in the second, but returned to play a few shifts prior to sitting out the third. The Leafs center had an assist in 12:33 of ice time versus San Jose. Coach Randy Carlyle didn't know the severity of the ailment after the contest, so consider Bozak day-to-day for now.

Tyler Bozak generated a goal and an assist in Wednesday's 6-5 shootout loss to Pittsburgh.
He was playing in just his second game back from a hamstring injury. Toronto's top line was excellent the in the contest, with Phil Kessel scoring and James van Riemsdyk earning three points, but the Penguins rallied to win after overtime settled nothing.

Tyler Bozak looks like he'll return to Toronto's lineup Monday night from a hamstring injury.
He has missed the last 12 games because of the ailment. Bozak wanted to play Saturday but he was held out by team doctors. He skated between Phil Kessel and James van Riemsdyk during Monday morning's practice. His return looks like it will bump Peter Holland to the press box.

Tyler Bozak will apparently need a little more time to fully recover from a hamstring injury and as a result won't play Saturday night against Washington.
