The chemistry continues for Vrbata and the Sedin twins, who combined for three assists on Vrbata's two power-play markers. Vrbata is up to eight goals and 15 points in 17 games this year, and appears to be one of the better values -- along with Daniel Sedin -- in fantasy hockey through the season's quarter pole.

Vrbata (leg) practiced Friday morning and is expected to play against the Coyotes.

Vrbata has now practiced two days in a row, making it very likely that he will return to the ice alongside the Sedin brothers on the first line. His status will be updated should he end up missing the game for some reason.

Vrbata (leg) returned to practice Thursday, rejoining Henrik and Daniel Sedin on the top line, the Vancouver Province's Jason Botchford reports.

The fact Vrbata is back practicing and cleared for contact would suggest that he may return Friday against the Arizona. The 33-year-old has missed the last two games with a lower body-injury sustained last week in a 3-2 win over San Jose. Through 15 games, the top-line winger has been a terrific fit in Vancouver, notching six goals and 13 points. With Vrbata back on the top line at practice, Jannik Hansen was demoted to the fourth line.

Vrbata (leg) will not play Tuesday against the Senators, Elliott Pap of the Vancouver Sun reports.

None of the Canucks' five injured skaters felt well enough to take part in the team's morning skate, so coach Willie Desjardins will stick with the same lineup he used Sunday against the Ducks. With Vrbata unavailable, Jannik Hansen is expected to join the Sedin twins on the top line once again.

Vrbata will miss Sunday's game against the Ducks with a lingering leg injury, Ben Kuzma of the Vancouver Province reports.

Vrbata has been bothered by the injury since Thursday, but managed to play through the pain in Saturday's loss to the Kings. However, in an effort to prevent the issue from worsening, Vrbata will sit out the second game of the Canucks' weekend back-to-back, but it doesn't appear likely that a long-term absence is in store. After the game against the Ducks, the Canucks won't play again until next Friday, which should offer Vrbata ample time to nurse himself back to full health.

Vrbata missed about seven minutes of the second period Thursday against the Sharks with a leg ailment, but he ended up returning to the game.

Vrbata was able to bag his sixth goal of the season and finished with 15:30 of ice time, despite being in the locker room for a decent chunk of the contest. It doesn't sound like injury is particularly worrisome for Vrbata, but the forward could be given Friday's practice off to further aid his recovery.
