Tanguay notched a goal and a power-play assist Thursday in a 4-1 win over the Canucks.

Like a lot of the Avs' skill players, he's lit aflame recently, with goals in thee consecutive games and a point-per-game pace over 11 March contests. He now has his ninth season of 50 or more points, and his first since tallying 69 with Calgary in 2010-11.

Tanguay nets goal in 3-2 loss at Calgary on Monday.

Tanguay scored his 20th goal of the season Monday, but finished with a minus-1 rating and just one shot on goal. Tanguay's third goal in three games against his former club gives him 47 points through 70 games this season. The 35 year-old forward continues to produce at an efficient rate, accumulating a shooting percentage of 21.3 percent, and only needs three more points over the final 10 games to notch his first 50 point season since 2010-11.

Tanguay potted his 19th goal of the season and had an assist in Saturday's win over the Flames.

That's three goals and five points in five games for Tanguay, who is up to 19 goals and 45 points in 67 games. He isn't spectacular, but Tanguay is a solid second-liner who can deliver points consistently. He doesn't shoot much, but when he does, he makes sure it counts.

Tanguay scored a goal and added an assist in Saturday's win over the Blue Jackets.

He has 42 points in 63 games, but just four (and a minus-7 rating) in his last nine. His game has started to slow -- hey, Saturday was his 1,001st game. But he can still deliver complementary offence to your squad, especially as a leader on a team that still thinks it can make the postseason.

Tanguay scored his 14th goal of the season and had an assist in Sunday's loss to the Jets.

Tanguay's surprising season continues, as he's now got 36 points in 52 games. The fact Tanguay hasn't gone more than three straight games without a point since the start of the season makes him one of the more consistent point producers right now. While he won't post spectacular overall offensive totals, his second-line role and offensive skill make a 20-goal, 55-point season very realistic.

Tanguay gathered an assist but took a minus-2 rating in Tuesday's loss to the Predators.

Tanguay continues to find himself on top of the Avs' point list this season with 33. He hasn't done much to help his cause on the power play with only eight points in that capacity, but he's been one of the few Avs forward to meet or surpass expectations so far. Health always remains a worry for the 35-year-old, however, so keep prepared in the event Tanguay breaks down in the second half.
