Steen scored his fifth goal of the season on the power play Tuesday in a loss to Ottawa. He took three shots and was minus-1 in the game.

Steen now has points in three straight as he tries to repeat his breakout 2013 season.

Steen added a pair of helpers in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Jets.

Steen's now at 14 points through 21 games. While he probably won't match last season's 62 point effort, he could still eclipse the 50 point mark. It's a little concerning that he only has four goals, especially after notching 33 last year, but those should come eventually.

Steen scored his fourth goal of the season Saturday in a win over the Senators. He was plus-1 and took seven shots in the contest.

Steen broke a six-game goalless drought and is clearly finding it challenging to get his offensive game going. More goals are probably going to come as he is putting more than three shots per game on net.

Steen dished out a trio of power-play assists and racked up nine penalty minutes in Tuesday's 6-1 romp over Buffalo.

Steen fought Tyler Ennis in the second period and took a double minor for roughing early in the third, but returned to notch the assists on the Blues' three game-sealing goals in the final four minutes of the third period.

Steen scored his third goal of the season Thursday in a win over the Devils. He had two shots on net and was minus-1 on the night.

Steen has eight points, but only three goals, in 13 games this season, which is a bit of a disappointing start coming off a 33 goal campaign last year. The Blues rank just 20th in goals per game and Steen finding the back more often is one of the keys to improving that rank.

Steen picked up his second goal of the year Thursday against Anaheim. He was plus-1 and took two shots.

Steen, who has points in three of his last four games, seems to be warming up. The Blues need him to proceed offensively with both David Backes and TJ Oshie out with concussions.

Steen (illness) played more than 21 minutes and picked up an assist Thursday in a loss to the Canucks. He was minus-2 and took four shots.

The flu that had been bothering Steen for a couple of days didn't seem to limit him on Thursday. He should be safe to count on going forward.

Steen (illness) was on the ice for pregame warmups prior to Thursday's game against the Canucks, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Though he was only a partial participant in Thursday morning's optional skate, it appears Steen is feeling healthy enough to suit up. Expect him to skate on the Blues' third line with fellow Swedes Patrik Berglund and Joakim Lindstrom.

Steen (illness) was on the ice prior to Thursday's optional morning skate, but didn't take part in the team portion, NHL.com's Lou Korac reports.

Steen was forced out of Wednesday's practice while battling the flu, so his return to the ice in some capacity Thursday would seem to show that he's made some progress. However, with coach Ken Hitchcock yet to announce if Steen will be available for Thursday's tilt with the Canucks, the forward should be viewed as a game-time decision at this juncture.
