Alexander Steen found the back of the net on Saturday.

Steen has now reached the 30-goal mark for the first time in his career. This has been a remarkable breakout campaign for him, especially when you keep in mind that he missed 11 games due to a concussion. He also has 23 assists in 56 contests this season.

Alexander Steen produced his 28th goal of 2013-14 in Thursday's 3-2 overtime victory against Boston.

He opened the scoring late in the first period. The Bruins rallied from a 2-0 deficit in the third period, but the Blues won in overtime on goal by T.J. Oshie. Steen snapped a mini three-game point skid with his marker. He now has 46 points in 45 games.

Alexander Steen is riding a five-game point streak, but he feels he has more to give since returning recently from concussion symptoms.

"To be honest, I'm expecting more of myself," he said. "I think there's a few notches left to get to where I was. I'm trying (but) I still feel like there's a couple of more notches in my game." Steen has produced three goals and four assists during his scoring spree, so if he has anything more to add then fantasy owners will be jumping (even higher) for joy. He has also been playing on a fractured toe for his last two outings. Steen has been one of the bigger pleasant surprises this season with 27 goals and 45 points in 41 games.

Alex Steen recorded a point in his fifth consecutive game, scoring for the third time in four games as St. Louis beat New Jersey 3-0 Tuesday night.

Steen has a point in five of six games since his return from the injured list. He is six points shy of reaching his career high in points, having played 31 games fewer than his 51 points campaign in 2010-2011. Through 41 games, the dazzling Swede has 45 points.

Alexander Steen didn't practice Monday because of a fractured toe, but he's expected to play Tuesday.

Ryan Reaves skated on the Blues' top line with David Backes and Jaden Schwartz in his place. That's probably a good indication that Steen will be ready, but we'll let you know if his status changes.

Alexander Steen recorded two assists in St. Louis' 4-3 shootout win on Saturday.

Steen extended his point streak to four-straight contests. Missing roughly a month with a concussion didn't kill his breakout campaign and he now has 26 goals and 44 points in 40 contests.

Alexander Steen is back in the lineup for the St. Louis Blues after a lower-body injury forced him out of Thursday's game.

He was able to participate in the pregame warmup, but he didn't take line rushes. However, he has been moved back up to a combination with David Backes and T.J. Oshie during the contest.

Alexander Steen is doubtful for Satutrday afternoon's contest against the Islanders.

He is dealing with a lower-body injury and didn't practice Friday. We would keep Steen on reserve Saturday especially if you have a healthy alternative.

Alexander Steen (lower body) isn't likely to return on Saturday.

Steen left Thursday's contest after he appeared to jam his foot into the crease of the boards in the corner. It was only his fourth game since returning from a concussion. He has 26 goals and 42 points in 36 contests in 2013-14.
