Alexander Steen LW STL 6 Days
Steen piled on another two assists in Monday's 3-1 win over Colorado. He's now on a 10-game point streak, a career high.
The guy has simply been the hottest player in the world since the calendar flipped to 2015, racking up an obscene 18 points in his last 10 games, skyrocketing back up to a near point-per-game pace (40 in 44 games). Steen's linemates haven't just come along for the ride either: David Backes (17 points) and T.J. Oshie (14 points) have co-starred during the 10-game goal-fest as well, making them easily the most dangerous trio in all of hockey. It's important to note, though, that the Blues are now on an extended nine-day vacation where they play a grand total of zero games, which sadly means that owners will have to cross their fingers that the hot streak will continue for Steen and Co. when they play their next game Jan. 29 against Nashville.

Steen extended his point streak to a career-high nine games with a goal and an assist in a 3-0 victory over the Maple Leafs.
He has 16 points, including seven goals, in those nine games and suddenly, last season's scoring outburst doesn't seem like such an outlier. He now has 38 points in 43 games this season. And while he won't get back to the lofty heights of last season's 33 goals, Steen could still hit 25 goals and 60 points. There's real value in that.
Alexander Steen LW STL 11 Days
Steen extended his goal streak to four games and his point streak to eight games Thursday, scoring with 48 seconds left to force overtime in what turned out to be a 3-2 loss to the Red Wings.
He's looking an awful lot like last year's model right now, having tallied a ridiculous 14 points (six of them goals) over the course of these eight games. It helps that the team as a whole has generally been hot -- the Blues scored only two goals Thursday, marking their worst offensive performance of 2015.
Alexander Steen LW STL 12 Days
Steen scored his 13th goal of the season Tuesday in a win over Edmonton. The goal stretched his point streak to seven games. He was plus-1 and took six shots in the game.
During his point streak, Steen has picked up an awesome 13 points as he and his teammates continue to fill the net in January. Steen has picked up the pace on his scoring and is now trending to a higher total than his career-high 62 last year.
Alexander Steen LW STL 15 Days
Steen kept up his hot play notching his 12th goal of the season Saturday in a shootout win over Carolina. He was plus-1 with four shots in the win.
Steen scored for fourth time in five games and has 11 points in that span as the Blues offense has gone crazy since the calendar flipped to 2015. Steen's relatively healthy season is a good sign that he can continue his production, although he is bound to slow down since no one can keep up this level of production. He looks to be in for a big second half.
Alexander Steen LW STL 18 Days
Steen opened the scoring with a power-play goal and tacked on an assist in Thursday's 7-2 mauling of the Sharks.
Steen's now riding a five-game point streak, and quite the streak it is -- he's got a ridiculous 11 points in the last five games. Last year's breakout was clearly no fluke, though his goal production has rather predictably regressed to a more typical level.
Alexander Steen LW STL 20 Days
Steen handed out two assists -- one on the power play -- in Tuesday's 6-0 manhandling of the Coyotes.
That's three consecutive multi-point efforts now for Steen, who's been getting red-hot along with the rest of the St. Louis offense. He has nine points (two goals) in the last four games and is on pace to clear 60 points for the second straight year -- if he can avoid the injury bug that's dogged him throughout his career.
Alexander Steen LW STL 23 Days
Steen scored his 10th goal of the season and added three assists in Saturday's blowout win over the Sharks.
Steen has heated up of late, recording seven points (two goals) and 15 shots on goal in his past three games. With 29 points in 37 games, Steen is on track to post a second consecutive 60-point season. Skating on the top line with the red-hot T.J. Oshie, Steen should be owned in most leagues right now.
Alexander Steen LW STL 24 Days
Steen fired 11 shots on net and scored two points in a 4-3 loss to Anaheim on Friday.
Steen has played over 22 minutes in his past two games, a significant uptick in ice time. He was named the game's second star and was a threat all night in the offensive zone. Steen's 11 shots accounted for nearly a quarter of the Blues' total. Steen now has nine goals in 36 games and is still very unlikely to score 30 goals this season despite a lower than average shooting percentage of 7.6 percent.
Alexander Steen LW STL 27 Days
Steen chipped in an assist in Tuesday's loss to the Predators.
Steen has picked up assists in three of his last six games, but it's his decline in shot attempts during that span that's proven most troubling. He's mustered a total of 11 shots in those games, a number well below his season average. Few expected him to repeat his 62-point breakout from a year ago, but the Blues were probably banking on him to have double-digit goals by this point in the season.
