Stastny (upper body) confirmed after the Blues' morning skate that he would play Thursday against the Devils, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

The Blues will still need to officially activate Stastny from injured reserve, but that's just a mere formality at this point. Stastny was a full participant in morning skate and doesn't look like he'll face any limitations in his return from a nearly three-week absence. He's expected to center the Blues' second line, joined by Alexander Steen and Joakim Lindstrom.

Stastny (upper body) will likely play in Thursday's game against the Devils, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.

Stastny skated on a regular line and got in power play work during Thursday's morning skate, which are both indications he will return to action Thursday. Expect an update on Stastny's status when the Blues make an official decision on his availability for Thursday night.

Stastny (upper body) will not play Tuesday against the Devils, Tom Gulitti of The Record reports.

While Stastny will miss another game Tuesday, he was able to take part in Tuesday's morning skate, and head coach Ken Hitchcock said "(Stastny) is within days" of returning action. That would indicate a likely return either Thursday against the same Devils squad the Blue will play Tuesday, or Saturday against the Predators.

Stastny (upper body) was a full participant at Monday's morning skate.

Stastny is travelling with the team on their current road trip, but it sounds like he'll probably wait until the weekend to return to the lineup.

Blues coach Ken Hitchcock said Saturday that Stastny (upper body) will travel with the team on its upcoming road trip, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch's Jeremy Rutherford reports.

A report earlier in the day indicated Stastny was still a week away from returning, but his presence on the road trip seems to contradict that information. The Blues hit the road for a back-to-back on Monday and Tuesday, so it would appear that he has at least a chance of playing in one or both of those games.

Stastny (upper body) is still a week away from returning, Mike Chambers of the Denver Post reports.

The center got off to a hot start with his new team, racking up a goal and three assists through his first four games, but hasn't been in the lineup since October 18. He'll continue to watch from the press box for another week or so, but it's worth keeping an eye on his rehab progress.

Stastny (upper body) will miss Saturday's game, NHL.com's Lou Korac reports.

Stastny suffered the injury Oct. 18 against the Coyotes and hasn't returned to action since. He appeared to be on track for Thursday's contest, but was ruled out in a game-time decision and now will miss Saturday as well.

Stastny (upper body) was on the ice for Thursday's morning skate and appears on track to play against the Ducks, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.

Stastny skated as the second-line right wing, suggesting the Blues plan on having him available later in the evening. He hasn't been officially activated from injured reserve just yet, but an announcement could come in the hours leading up to the game. Stastny's return to the lineup would be a boon for the Blues regardless of the circumstances, but it would be an especially welcome development after both T.J. Oshie and David Backes were diagnosed with concussions and ruled out indefinitely earlier in the day.

Coach Ken Hitchcock said Stastny (upper body) is not being ruled out for Thursday's game against the Ducks, NHL.com's Lou Korac reports.

Stastny was on the ice at Wednesday's optional session for a third straight day, but it doesn't sound like he's resumed taking much contact, making it more likely than not that he sits out Thursday. Still, the feeling from the Blues is that Stastny is making progress and is close to a return. Keep stashing him on your bench until he's given the green light to return.
