He's thriving on the second line and first power-play unit right now, so make sure he's in your lineup every game.

Contributing in the majority of fantasy categories, the 26-year-old should be owned in almost all formats.

It's his second straight game with a goal following a 14-game slump in which he picked up just one goal and three assists. While that skid slowed Simmonds' pace, he should pick it back up, especially if the Flyer reward his resurgence with a return to his typical minutes.

Simmonds' 17th strike of the season came on a first-period power play, giving him his first goa1 since Jan. 6. He's managed just four points in January and was demoted to the third line for Tuesday's game, but his strong outing may allow him to return to his usual role on the Flyers' second trio.

Aside from Jakub Voracek's first-round shootout goal, Simmonds was the only man with a line on getting the puck past Sens netminder Craig Anderson. It's been a bit of a down year so far for Simmonds -- his scoring rate is down a few ticks and his PIM totals haven't really been there either until the last two games. But he's actually hitting at a career-high rate and remains a power-play ace, having tallied 15 of his 26 points with the extra man.

That's Simmonds' third straight game finding twine and his sixth goal in the last six games. Simmonds has been lighting up the scoresheet lately, and with the PIM he folds into his stat line, he should be starting in most formats.

Simmonds was one of five Flyers to post multi-point performances in this one, and he now sits at 13 goals and eight assists on the season. Owners would undoubtedly like to see more in the PIM department from Simmonds, as he only has 23 thus far, but his continued offensive production likely helps lessens the blow.

Simmonds scored his seventh power-play goal of the season in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Devils.

Simmonds has scored four times in the last four games. He's 16th in the league in that category, and he's on pace to set a career-high in goals scored. Even though his assists are down from previous years, Simmonds is a solid start in all formats.

Simmonds potted two goals and chipped in four hits in Wednesday's shootout loss to the Ducks.

Simmonds gave the Flyers a sense of hope that their losing streak might come to an end by tallying the tying goal with 2.6 seconds remaining in regulation, extending the game to overtime. While Simmonds and his mates couldn't prevail in the shootout, it was good to see the winger get back on track after his offense had gone cold of late. He had previously provided only one point over his previous five games.
